This is a great course. The lessons are very informative and the website/student zone is really well put together and easy to use.

The grading is done really quickly and each of the assessments comes with clear and concise instructions.

I completed my course whilst travelling through France. It is an excellent qualification accessible by all.

I would recommend this course to anyone, or any age. It is a really versatile qualification to have, particularly if you want to travel and work at the same time.

I recently completed my TEFL Level 5 certificate. I was a bit bummed that I didn't do the level 5 or know about it earlier because it had a lot of the work in that I had already completed in the normal 120 hours TEFL course. So it's better to just do the level 5 from the beginning. The TEFL Academy has a great support system they respond to your requests really quickly. I actually forgot to extend my time to complete my certificate, and two weeks later, they were still willing to help me without charging me extra.

I loved the level 3 certificate. Each topic was interesting and relevent. The assignments had clear direction and where accessible. The support was good if you had questions. Also received detailed feedback on assignments which was helpful.

The structure of the course was one of its greatest strengths. It was clearly laid out into manageable modules, each focusing on different aspects of teaching English—from grammar and lesson planning to classroom management and student engagement. The content was presented in a way that was both engaging and practical. I particularly appreciated the interactive elements like quizzes and scenario-based tasks.

Flexibility was another major benefit. Since the course was entirely online and self-paced, I could fit my studies around my full-time job and personal life. I never felt rushed, and I appreciated being able to go back and review material whenever I needed to.

The support from the course team was also excellent. Even though it was an online course, I never felt like I was alone. Tutors were available to answer questions and provide feedback on assignments, and they responded promptly and helpfully every time I reached out. Their encouragement and constructive criticism really made a difference and helped me improve along the way.

What stood out most was how practical and real-world-focused the training was. The course didn’t just focus on theory—it provided tons of examples, tips, and activities that I could see myself using in an actual classroom. It also covered both online and in-person teaching methods, which was great since I’m considering remote teaching opportunities as well as international ones.

By the time I completed the course, I felt confident and excited about stepping into the world of TEFL. I now have a solid understanding of how to plan engaging lessons, manage different types of learners, and create a positive learning environment. The certificate I received is already opening doors.I've started applying for teaching positions abroad and online, and I've even had a couple of interviews lined up!

You're wondering if it's possible; it is. I started this course doubting myself, thinking there's no way I could achieve the goal I so badly craved. I wanted to do a course that is engaging and not just has theoretical aspects. The TEFL Academy course level 5 provided not just theory, but probably one of the best interactive and real-life activities that I have ever come across. Even after I was in a bad spot between other work, etc, the support team motivated me and gave me options to still continue with the course while overcoming obstacles due to time constraints. I would refer anyone to do this course who not only wants to enrich others, but also enrich themselves.

I have recently completed my Level 5 TEFL course with The TEFL Academy and had a positive experience.

The units are broken down well, and it allows you to work through at your own pace, which was really helpful for me as I work full time. I do feel like coming out of this, that I am lacking the practical experience, so I am looking into the next steps to gain this. I think if you were to book the course with the observed teaching included, this would tick all the boxes!

The YouTube lectures are especially helpful and a great guide to walk you through the assignments, and the feedback provided by the support team was easy to understand.

I do really recommend this course if you are looking to step your foot into the door of teaching English, and I am excited to see where it will take me!

The online structure of the learning material was so easy to navigate and understand. All learning material was so interesting as well as clear and precise that it made me so eager to want to go back to learn ore every single day. The assignments were daunting as a learner, however, with the clear instructions, detailed feedback and where improvements can be made for the next submission, as well as the excellent student support, made everything so much easier. The weekly live webinars were my favourite as it gave live information, feedback and support besides the excellent support online that was already provided. This course was the best I have ever done and would definitely recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone looking to to this course.

The course is ideal to do at your own pace. The subject is well covered and the learning material easy to follow. The tests as you go through are good for checking understanding as you progress. The outstanding aspect is the examiners who give excellent, thorough feedback and good suggestions. This is particularly helpful as they address each part of the assignment you have submitted and you have a real sense of what works, what does not work and how to improve. I found this to be the best part of the course.

The TEFL Academy truly delivered on its promise to prepare me for teaching English abroad. I was very skeptical about taking a TEFL course. But, when I heard from a friend about her experiences it got me excited. So, I thought I'd give it a try. Initially, I felt overwhelmed. However, once I got started it was so easy to lock in. The modules were very engaging and the knowledge tests were very helpful to understand each section better. The big three assignments allowed me to develop the different parts of a lesson plan that is great practice for when I begin to create lessons for future classes I teach. I would 10/10 would recommend this to anyone looking to teach English as a foreign language. Great course.
