I recently completed the level 5 TEFL course with the TEFL Academy. I was a bit unsure in the beginning of the course because it was different to what I had done before, but once everything clicked it was simple to complete - it only took me a month in the end. Any questions I had were answered quickly and thoroughly by the incredible staff at the TEFL Academy. They also help with job guidance, which is super helpful! The course is set up in a user-friendly, interactive manner. For anyone wanting to complete a TEFL course I would definitely recommend The TEFL Academy.

This course was very engaging from beginning to end. Concepts are explained with a lot of detail and they even provide practice tasks and a lot of other resources to help you understand the course material better. The best part of the course for me were the webinars that helped students to understand how to conduct the assignments. These were really helpful and made the process of doing the assignments less stressful because you could focus more on the creativity and content of the assignments without worrying if you were doing the assignment in the correct format or not. I also particularly enjoyed the bonus AI module at the end of the course. It was very insightful.

The TEFL Academy is a platform that allowed me to get my certification in teaching English online and I have now landed a job abroad. It is an excellent program that offers an immense amount of information and support. The support team is quite quick with their responses if you are confused about something. The level 5 168 course is a challenging yet insightful course which assist with ways in which to teach English and also offers a courses on textbooks on classroom management. Amazing experience

Taking this TEFL course was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I went in feeling a bit unsure, but the course really surprised me—in a good way. The content was engaging and easy to digest, and everything felt super relevant to real-life teaching.

What really stood out, though, was the support. The tutors were kind, encouraging, and gave feedback that actually helped me grow. It never felt like I was just ticking boxes—I felt like they really cared about helping me succeed.

By the time I finished, I felt confident and excited to start teaching. If you're thinking about doing a TEFL course, I can honestly say this one gave me both the skills and the motivation I needed.

I am very pleased with the course and that I chose the TEFL Academy. Learning was super accessible with it being all online, teaching was detailed enough that I feel comfortable to use what I learned in the classroom. The mix of videos, assignments and general learning made it more engaging. Also being able to learn beyond just teaching content with things such as classroom management I found particularly useful.
One thing I'd say is that perhaps there be more assignments to ensure learning is accomplished from all angles.

My TEFL experience was honestly amazing; the tutors were always helpful, and the course was easy to work through. I would 100% recommend TEFL to anyone who asked! I managed to complete the course in 4 months. Each section opened my eyes to something new I didn’t know about teaching, it was an amazing learning experience. I failed my first assignment the first time I did it, and the tutors were always helpful, answering me and guiding me in the right direction. I never felt overwhelmed or useless, as everyone was very friendly and the platform was amazing!

The TEFL Academy provides an excellent level 5 course. The course covers a wide variety of topics in a way that is easy to understand and fun to learn. The end-of-unit knowledge test, along with the interactive activities throughout the course, was a fun way to test myself and my understanding.

Some of the information seemed very self-explanatory and a bit unnecessary but that might just be a personal opinion.
I only asked for assistance once during my course. I needed help finding an answer to a specific question in my end-of-unit test and I was assisted within an hour of sending my question through.

I really, really enjoyed the 3 assignments because they allowed for creative freedom with some of the activities. I also appreciate the extensive review I received on all my work.

I would highly recommend The Tefl Academy to anyone who is looking to go into online teaching or teaching abroad.

I took this course at the request of my upcoming employer. I've already been an English teacher for 6 years, so the course material was an absolute breeze. The course material could easily be finished in under a week. The 2 graded assignments were the "hardest" part of the course, and even those can be finished in a day or two. At the price of roughly $150, I'd say it is a good value considering that having a TEFL certification can help you book more jobs. If you want to bolster your resume, I'd recommend the course.
