TEFL made learning so easy and fun. Student support is there for any assistance and ready to help should you need it and they really helped me a lot. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The quiz questions testing your knowledge in between is very helpful because then you know where you need to make improvements. The review box as well you are able to share your thoughts with other's. Being able to test your knowledge as much as you want with no limits. I love the web seminar as well, there you get a lot of information.

I found this course to be challenging and engaging! I really enjoyed it, and I learnt a whole lot that will be incredibly useful in my career. I'm also so grateful for the information and suggestions for finding a placement. There was plenty of information to support you as you prepare the assignments, and i particularly appreciated the "How are assignments assessed" section as it gives you a really good overview of what is expected and how you can get those extra points. The marking time was really fast, I seldom waited more than 3 days to get my results, and there was always loads of encouragement and helpful advice.

I enjoyed this course and had no trouble completing the content. The TEFL Academy was generous with its time frame for completion (six months), so I was able to take my time as I was in the process of retiring from my previous career of 25 years. I completed this course with a view to teaching English as a foreign language and traveling, while using the skills that I had developed in my previous career to make me an effective teacher. I found the course thorough and covered everything I believe that I need to find employment as an ESL teacher. The course also gives me the confidence to look at other English language and grammar publications to professionally develop as an ESL teacher. There was a good balance of quizzes throughout the course, and the three assignments were all very different and covered something quite relevant to teaching English. Overall, I recommend this course for anyone looking to get their foot in the door of ESL teaching, and starting with a solid training course.

When I enrolled in the TEFL Academy Level 5 course I had very little knowledge of the ESL world. I had done extensive research on ESL courses and finally selected this one. The first Unit felt like Gibberish to me, honestly. I realised I had just stepped into a whole world I did not know existed. How daunting! However, for a long time, I had wanted to do a course in ESL teaching in order to gain the freedom to work from almost anywhere in the world. What I discovered along the way though, proved much more valuable than getting a certificate to benefit career-wise. The course offered so many interesting facts and viewpoints on learning and teaching language, and provided sufficient examples and scenarios for me to get a deeper understanding of the ESL world. The student support and markers were also extremely reliable, prompt and courteous; I always felt at ease making any queries or requests. By the end of the course, I felt very equipped to begin my career in ESL teaching, and I am starting to feel like a part of this wide and curious, open and wonderful world of ESL! I'd certainly recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in ESL teaching - a warm welcome to the ESL world awaits you in the TEFL Academy!

Taking the Online Level 5 TEFL Course provided by the TEFL Academy was an excellent experience that truly delved into the various challenges of teaching. This was not a "simple" course by any means; I found it challenging, especially the assignments, but it was incredibly interesting and engaging.

Although I don't have immediate plans to start teaching, I wanted to take this course to open up more doors for the future. The flexibility of the online format was perfect for me, as it allowed me to balance my full-time job and responsibilities as a mum to two young kids. I could pace the course as needed, which really worked well for my busy schedule.
