I recently completed the Level 5, 168-hour online TEFL course with The TEFL Academy, and I couldn't be more impressed! The design of the website is very easy to manage and understand. Instructions are always clear and easy to follow, which makes the whole process more enjoyable.

The course dived deep into core lesson planning and structure - very helpful. I appreciate all the platforms and websites given as tools to use as a TEFL teacher. I enjoyed learning some foundation and historical background of the English language.

The lessons were so easy to understand and fun to go through, they were engaging and effective. The lesson plan templates are one of the things I appreciate most I think, they demonstrate effective lesson planning.

The program was very insightful because it pushed me to refine my knowledge of the language that I am preparing to teach. Writing, spelling, and grammar are 3 important aspects of teaching a language and I think that the TEFL Level 5 does an excellent job at covering all elements.

Additionally, the training is highly practical when it comes to teaching the material and lesson planning. It covers several teaching techniques and provides resources that can be used to enhance teaching and to engage the students.

This has been a truly unique experience for me personally. I was challenged with the coursework in only the best ways. It has taught me a lot that I otherwise wouldn’t have known about teaching the English language to others. It’s eye opening and something that i don’t regret doing, it’s given me the skills necessary to go further in my career and instilled hope and confidence in me. It equipped me with effective techniques for teaching English to a diverse range of students. Through ample case studies and activities, I was able to develop a more creative approach to lesson planning. Additionally, the feedback on each assignment allowed me to reflect on what I had learned throughout the course on an individual level. I truly appreciate the experience. I’m now excited to teach my students online and feel more confident in providing them with productive and practical lessons.

I was very fortunate to be able to complete the TEFL Online Level 5 Diploma during a quiet work period. I feel this course has added value to my 3.5 years experience in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. It reassured me and gave me lots of new tips/ideas to take into the classroom. I have also completed 2 out of the 3 free top up courses that come with this course, so it is excellent value for money. The support from start to finish has been fantastic. TEFL 5 English teaching course is great, it brought back high school memories. Somethings that I may have forgotten came to light, learned a lot of new teaching methods and tactics to tackle confusion whilst teaching this course also has given me a better understanding of the level of students (A1/A2, B1/B2 ,C1/C2) which has also assisted me in my current role as Learning Support Assistant.

The course also assists on CV and Cover letter templates and gives you the time and opportunity to complete the course at your pace.
