Over the 2017 summer I was fortunate enough to explore the countries Switzerland, France, and Italy with the company TFT. My trip was an absolute blast, there were thrilling activities planned for each and every day with just the right amount of breaks and free time in between. The food you explore throughout the cultures is amanzing and the company is super organized with having everything planned out including back up plans for absolutely anything that happens. I unfortunately was pickpocketed during my time in France while my group and I walked back to our hotel, although my counselors were nothing but helpful in this instance and got me in touch with my parents to receive more money. The next day I actually also got a concussion from being hit in the head while playing in a pool, and again my counselors were super helpful by making sure my health came first and brought me to a hospital where I received the best care and my counselor stayed with me even over night. You can really tell that all of the staff cares about you and your safety. All the mishaps I experienced were completely random but the fact that my counselors were helping as soon as possible really showed their dedication. I live this company so much and it’s truly the best one for traveling as a teen.

This was my second TFT trip and I was definitely nervous that it wouldn’t match up to my amazing experience the year before, but it did and more.
We immersed ourselves in the culture constantly trying new foods, trying to communicate in Thai, and even sleeping in the jungle for the night.
We talked with monks and learned about the culture and their religion. Explored temples, shopped at Thai markets, and more.
Through this trip I also met one of my best friends and the experiences we went through together brought us so so close together that not even living in completely different time zones could tear us apart.
Not only will the experiences last me a lifetime, the friends will too.

This past summer, I went on the Sicily Community Service trip. This was my second Travel for Teens trip, and each one gets better! The home we stayed at was absolutely amazing. Right when we arrived, they welcomed us with open arms and big smiles. The location is absolutely incredible, and I immediately felt at home with the breathtaking scenery and sweet children running around. It was familiar enough to feel comfortable, but different enough to really open my eyes. It was the perfect balance of rewarding service and exploring throughout the island. The family made us feel like another member of their own. We helped set the table, make dinner, and even celebrated a birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely incredible experience, one that is very close to my heart. I will always remember the friendships I made with so many of the children, and the memories that I made with so many. Thank you TFT for such an amazing experience. I will always remember it!

This trip was truly amazing. I loved everything that we did. Especially white water rafting. Every day I woke up excited for what the day had to offer. All food was great. We tried a lot of different food and sometimes we grilled food ourselves which was delicious! Counselors were also so kind, caring and nurturing. We also went on a super long hike which was tiring but so much fun and so beautiful. Before we went, we picked up lunches at a supermarket and once we were at the top we ate overlooking the glacier we climbed next to. It was beautiful and I am determined to someday go back.

I absolutely loved this trip! It was my first time traveling with TFT and it definitely lived up to my expectations. We had so many amazing community service opportunities: working in schools with kids, cleaning up trash off local beaches, renovating building and even building the foundation for a waste management system. On top of that, we did several scenic hikes, went kayaking and snorkeling and even went to secret caves. Overall, this trip is truly one of a kind. I highly recommend this once in a life time experience to anyone who is looking to improve the world and take on an adventure!

This past summer, after graduating high school, I went of my first ever TFT trip, and the rest is history! I immediately fell in love with the company and have no intention of ever leaving the TFT family. It was nerve wracking going abroad for the first time, especially with a group of strangers, but by the end of the two weeks I didn't want to board that plane going home! The two weeks I was abroad with TFT were the best few weeks of my life hands down. I met life long friends, done things I never thought I would. It was beyond a humbling experience. The cultural immersion, the independence, custom itineraries, and everything else truly gives the atmosphere of travelers not tourist groups. I can't speak highly enough about them. If you're thinking about going abroad, go TFT! You absolutely will not regret it!

Alpine Adventure was my first trip with TFT and it ended up being one of the best experiences of my life! Everyday my adrenaline was pumping whether we were ziplining through canyons, following via ferratas (a mix of hiking and rock climbing), or mountain biking down the Alps, there was also something fun, exciting, and challenging to do. Every place we visited was even more beautiful than the last; my personal favorite was Saas-Grund, Switzerland where we were surrounded by gorgeous snowy mountains and quaint chalets. Not only were the views great, but so was the food. We had the chance to try authentic cuisine from each country, escargot and crepes from France, fondue from Switzerland, and gelato and pastas from Italy, just to name a few. The counselors always made me feel safe and comfortable in every situation, and were also very friendly and fun people to talk to. The people on this trip added to the wonderful experience I had as well, even though we only knew each other for 10 days, we became good friends and still Snapchat each other everyday. Overall, my entire experience was fantastic and I will definitely be doing another TFT trip this summer. If you're looking for adventure and the opportunity to explore different countries, then this trip is for you.

Traveling to Australia with Travel for Teens was an experience I will never forget. The counselors were so engaging, the friendships I made were long lasting, the excursions we went on (snorkeling, sand boarding, bridge climbing, koala holding) were mind blowing, and the service we did at a Wildlife Hospital was incredibly fulfilling. Whether you chose to go to Australia or not, I highly recommend that every high school student travel abroad before they leave for college. It is a necessary step to leaving the nest. It's a "test flight," and I've never had a better time being "tested" in my life.

This was my first TFT trip and I already cannot wait to go on my next one! Although I went into the trip a little nervous not knowing anyone, I came home with friends I wish I had known forever. The TFT counselors made us feel comfortable and always had our best interests in mind. I discovered an entire new culture that will stick with me forever and fell in love with the Greek food and scenery. I truly could not think of anything that would've made this trip a better experience. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to test my newfound independence, and that TFT gave me the confidence to seek out new travel opportunities for my future. I can't wait for summer 2018 with TFT!

I went on this trip as a graduating senior and it honestly changed my life! I made so many incredible memories with people who were recently complete strangers. After coming back, I realized how important travel is to me in my life and I've decided to attend college in Paris! I would never have the guts to do this without Travel for Teens. On the trip, I ate the best food, saw the most incredible views, and met some of the best people I will ever meet. The staff is easily the best compared to any other student travel company I've ever traveled with. They were so qualified and made everything so easy; I never felt unsafe or unsure whether they knew what they were doing. If you are looking for a trip with the best staff, most amazing kids, and most beautiful destinations, you will not be disappointed with Travel for Teens! I can't wait for my next trip!
