This was my first trip with Travel for Teens and I'm so glad it was. I spent ten days exploring Oahu and Maui with a very fun group of people, wonderful counselors, and a lot of excitement. Not only did I visit all of the most common tourist locations, but I also got to have experiences a regular tourist would likely never be able to have, such as doing community service with a marine wildlife center, visiting Haleakala Volcano early enough to see the sunrise and then biking down it later, surfing at Waikiki Beach, and trying numerous wonderful Hawaiian and other Polynesian dishes. Hawaii was incredibly beautiful and I'm so glad that I went there with Travel for Teens.

In France I was able to practice my basic French that I have been learning in school. Many people of the locals were happy that I was trying to speak their language and I got to learn and practice new things. many times, I had the Parisens correct me on my French and it was amazing. We went bike riding throughout Paris, visited the Palace of Versailles, and the louver. I tried so many different kinds of food some of which I have never heard of before and they were all so good. I also got the opportunity to learn more about the French culture such as the Battle of Bastille and claim the Eiffel tower.

The overall experience was a blast. Berlin was just the first country we went to. We stayed in a hostel where we got to meet other students from other countries visiting Berlin. We went bike riding and tried their delicious cuisine. I was able to meet people that I am still in contact with. We went to holocaust museums and had an enriching experience in having a deeper understanding of the heart ships people went through. We also went to parliament and go to see the city from above. I learned that you had to pay for water everywhere you went, and public bathrooms weren't a thing, so be ready.

While in London, we were able to travel by the underground(tube). Our stay the entire time was amazing, and we had easy access to go anywhere we needed to. While there we went to Abby Road and recreated the Iconic Beatles album cover. Then we went and got Beatles seveners. We went on a ghost's tour with our amazing guide who told us all about London dark history, would totally recommend. We had tea every morning with beans and toast the classic British breakfast. We did so much more it as a once and a lifetime experience.

The mix and perfect balance of interacting with nature and experiencing breathtaking natural environments and the experiences in the cities and urban settings was a stand out part of the experience. How I was bale to get to know my peers and form friendships that last to this day built a distinct tight knit bond with my travel group. Initially I was unsure about participating in a TFT trip. However, I highly recommend this program and am ecstatic that I chose to participate. I look forward to being able to participate in these trips every summer.

I had the most amazing experience on my trip with TFT. Any problems or issues we faced the team members from TFT fixed it right away. They were extremely flexible, listened and extremely funny. This experience made me realize how much I truly love travel! I loved all the different excursions and experiences that TFT offered! I would strongly recommend that anyone who wants to travel, especially new travelers, to go to Iceland. I wish everyday that I could go back to that wonderful experience with TFT.

I absolutely loved traveling with Travel for Teens for the Greece - Athens and the Islands trip. As a high school student who loves traveling and has always wanted to go to Greece, this trip did not disappoint! From Athens to Paros, to Santorini, I saw everything I could've ever wanted to see in Greece. I definitely recommend TFT because their safety and experiences are incredible! I went on this trip as a solo traveler, which was nerve-wracking, but TFT made it so easy to meet new people and overall have the best time!

I had so much fun during my time with TFT and I think many people will as well. It's a great program full of great people and you feel so fulfilled after doing your community service while also having fun. You're also meeting new friends and locals, while getting to see these countries through the eyes of a tourist and a local and it's so eye opening. TFT makes you see traveling through a new lens and it honestly is so amazing. I would recommend it to everyone.

My TFT experience started with getting in contact with Maggie at the TFT office, who quickly and professionally responded to all the questions from me and my parents. Additopnally, when there was a issue with changes of flights, the office resolved the issue collaboratively with me and my family, reassuring my parents that I would arrive safely to the trip destination.
This past summer (summer 2023), I went on the Budapest, Krakow, Vienna and Prague trip. This trip somehow exceeded the sky-high bar that was set by my last trip. We did a lot of fun activities, like legal graffiti in Vienna, cooking classes, bike tours, caving, and even a ghost tour! What really made the trip spectacular, though, were the counselors, Shan and Greg. They were very aware of group dynamics and receptive to campers’ feelings and concerns, listened to the desires and wishes of the campers, and worked their hardest to make the trip enjoyable for everyone.

I took the Pacific Northwest Explorer trip in the summer of 2022. The itinerary is flawless, a perfect mix of cities and nature, and the counselors, Annalise and Willoughby, worked to ensure the trip was enjoyable for everyone. We traversed up mountains, swam in crystal clear lakes, and explored our way through the beautiful cities of the west coast.
