One thing that surprised me was how smooth the whole trip felt. Usually when you’re moving around a lot — ferries, hotels, different towns — things get confusing or stressful, but TFT had it organized in a way that didn’t feel strict or annoying. We knew where we had to be, but it still felt like we had room to enjoy ourselves and not be rushed everywhere. The leaders were chill too. They gave us space, but they were always there when we needed something or didn’t know what was going on.
The food was another highlight. I didn’t even think I liked Greek food like that, but I ended up trying way more stuff than I expected. Fresh seafood, gyros, pastries — everything just tasted better over there. Even simple things like grabbing a drink or a snack in a random shop felt like part of the experience.
What made the trip really memorable though was the group. Traveling with people around your age who are also excited to explore makes everything ten times better. We were all new to the place, figuring things out together, laughing at dumb stuff, and making memories without even realizing it. By the time the trip was ending, it felt like we had been there way longer — in a good way.
Overall, I’d recommend this trip to anyone who wants something fun, different, and actually memorable. Greece lives up to the hype, and TFT made the whole thing feel easy and enjoyable. It’s one of those experiences I’m definitely not forgetting anytime soon.
