Everyone is so nice at Meiji ! Their services are very good and the staff is adorable towards the students. I'm glad I chose them to learn Japanese. During the lessons, we could talk about anything, the teachers were very open. It was the first time I spoke with Japanese people, and I liked their mentality. The teachers were always very respectful and patient while I asked a lot of questions ^^
The school staff was also very nice and they answered my emails very quickly. I have asked several times for a change in my schedule because I was unable to attend, and they always arranged it for me to follow my lessons without problems.

I started lessons with Meiji Academy as a real beginner, and in just three weeks, I got to a very reasonable level. My teachers were excellent and very friendly. I was confident during their lessons, so I was not afraid to speak up and make mistakes. I think I progressed quickly because of this. They never put pressure on me and since the lessons were private, I had no reason to hold back! I took the opportunity to ask all the questions that came to my mind and took as many notes as possible. One day I would like to go to Japan, but in the meantime, studying from home was a very good idea to prepare for my future trip. I loved talking about traditional Japanese culture with the teachers. Before that, Japan seemed very far away and inaccessible, but thanks to Meiji Academy's course, I have the impression that Japan is closer than I thought.

The lessons with Meiji Academy were very informative and well-rounded. The lessons are private, you are alone with a teacher. I found it great to be able to focus and work on your own weaknesses. Besides, the teachers were very nice and their explanations easy to understand. They were very open-minded and I loved talking to them every day. At first, I only signed up for two weeks to try the program, and then it was so great that I asked to continue for another two weeks! The staff was very responsive and helped me register right away. They seemed happy that I enjoyed the program and they were lovely with me.

The online courses are very useful and of good quality. The teachers are all Japanese, some also speak English and others do not. I like the rotation of them so that I was forced to speak only Japanese with some, and could ask more complex questions to others. The course schedules are adjustable according to our personal schedule, I found it very convenient. It is easy to reach the staff at any time if you have any problem. We can talk about everything during the lessons, I really liked that. We talked about Japanese culture, Japanese society, etc. I learned a lot not only about the Japanese language but also about their culture. I recommend this school, I had a great time with them.

I had wanted to learn Japanese for years, but I was too busy with my studies and my personal plans to find time for that. Recently, since I couldn't go to college anymore, I finally had time for other projects. So I thought about the possibilities and decided to try an online Japanese course. I must say that the lessons with Meiji Academy were even better than what I hoped for! In fact, I saved a lot of time because I didn't have to move from my room and I could organize my schedule exactly as I wanted. Before I didn't use my computer too much, but now it has become a very precious tool to save time and to be able to continue to do whatever I want remotely. Overall my experience with Meiji Academy was very good. Now I can speak in Japanese about many topics and the teachers were really thoughtful. I am very happy to have been able to meet such kind and considerate people.

The Japanese Online programme with Meiji Academy was awesome. It was a really cool break from every day routine and a personal accomplishment which I am proud of. I was passionate about what I learnt every day and the lessons were interesting and fun. The virtual experience was exciting as well and contrary to what one might think, it was really interactive and I could create real bonds with my teachers and my fellow students. I also learnt a great deal about Japanese culture through the different lessons I had and thanks to my amazing teachers. Of course, I hope I can go to Japan for real in the future, but this course was already a fun immersion in Japanese culture and language. If you are hesitating, you should just give it a go and you will have an entertaining and incredible experience!

I always asked so many questions to my teachers but they never lost their patience! :p This language program helped me gain self confidence. I improved so much in Japanese and I realized that I was actually capable of learning a new language. While in class, I felt like I wasn’t making any progress, but then we attended some language exchange with actual Japanese students and, boy, did it show that I spoke proper Japanese. I could chat away with them fairly easily! We had classes every day and learned very quickly. The private classes were very useful to work on specific grammar or themes. The staff was nice and welcoming. On the first day, they added me on LINE and we could contact them at any moment. During the first week, I was placed in a group with two girls, and from the second week, another guy from England arrived. We became quite close thanks to all the activities Meiji organized for us.

Visiting Japan for a few months is one of my dreams, and I was supposed to be there right now! I planned everything... and then the COVID-19 situation made me cancel the whole trip. I was sad, but it's not something I can control. While speaking by email with the Meiji Academy staff, they told me that they were offering online lessons and they kindly explained how everything would work if I decided to go for it. I thought that the idea was really good so I switched for this online program! It was actually amazing! It was fun, interactive and very useful. I had classes every week days, homework, nice teachers... it was not so different from going to a real school! It was even more easy because I could study in my pyjamas lol.
I realized that not being able to travel to Japan is sad, but I can go later, I have my whole life for this. Learning Japanese from home was great and I will be more prepared for my next travel.

Studying at Meiji Academy was a wonderful adventure! I enjoyed every single second I spent there and two months later, I am still thinking about it. I appreciated to be able to speak English with some of the staff member because my level at the beginning was really poor and the English speaking staff helped me to adapt to my new environment. Meiji offers really nice services and excursions and I could learn Japanese while visiting Kyushu and experiencing Japanese culture. The teachers and the staff were all very motivated and dedicated to us.
It was my third time in Japan and studying the language was a good alternative to be able to travel, make friends and get a better undertanding of the culture. This time I didn't feel like a "normal" tourist which is nice :)

We had classes everyday from Monday to Friday and they also gave us homework to study at home. The classes were small which allowed us to practice efficiently and remember easily new grammar structures. I am happy that during my time at Meiji Academy, I expanded my vocabulary very quickly thanks to my nice and talented teachers! I made great connections with local students in Fukuoka because I took part in the weekly activities and social events at Meiji, and also because I tried to be outgoing and talk to everyone! I loved the whole experience in Japan and I was constantly immersed in Japanese culture, which was my goal from the beginning!
