If you’re scared of traveling alone or just wanting to get some working experience under your belt I’d recommend this program to you. I personally came not expecting much but I left with not only a new perspective in life but new lifelong friends and some good experience to add to the resume. If you’re second guessing it, just go for it, the coordinators here are super supportive, the other interns are super friendly, plus you get to explore a whole new country with a group instead of doing it alone

I had an excellent time on this program, I learn loads and found the Beyond Academy company brilliant at organizing events and give tips for traveling around Tokyo! They were excellent at advice on the Japanese lifestyle and any info you were interested in!

The coordinators were great at helping me navigate anything I found difficult and helpful with optimizing my experience in Japan! Marc and Ceci were particularly good at travel and food tips! I met some amazing people along the way and overall would recommend!!

I had a splendid time doing beyond academy. The people you meet and all the fun things you get to do make the whole thing worth it. As for the job it depends on the company and the job you go for. Some people worked all the time, and others barely worked at all. Either way the people, the experiences and all the exploration outside of the job are elite and worth it. If you are thinking about doing it I’d say definitely give it a shot and go out and explore, work, and have fun. Shoutout Beyonf Academy

Beyond Academy internships are not only an incredible opportunity to explore a new country and culture, but also provide the opportunity to grow in your career and strengthen your assets! Moving abroad for 6 months or even 6 weeks can be an intimidating idea, but the staff at Beyond Academy makes it as smooth as possible and ensures support, community and cultural activities. I couldn’t imagine finding the internship on my own, and I’m sure I wouldn’t have been able (or comfortable) to do the activities without a group to go with and facilitate it. Having weekly options of events ensured I made the most out of my time and I’m so thankful to have had such a wonderful staff on site to support me!

This summer I got to intern as a Marketing intern in Seoul. It was an unforgettable experience. A highlight of the program is meeting a diverse group of people from around the world. The events organised by Beyond Academy helped form friendships and getting to know the other interns. You also get to experience the culture of Seoul through the events, explore the city and get to try new foods.

If you haven't been to Seoul before, this program definitely helps you settling in a new city and experiencing the Korean culture. You will also get to visit a lot of the touristic spots. However, if you have already been in Korea before some events might not be as exciting but it's a good opportunity to bond with the other interns.

I gained a lot of experience through my internship. I felt like I was valued in the company and given enough responsibility. I was able to assist in marketing campaigns, attend meetings and even organise events.

Looking back, I believe this internship program helped me grow personally and professionally.

I am very pleased with my Beyond Academy experience. My internship has been very successful, it has provided me with valuable experience, and has undoubtedly helped me grow as a person. I am also pleased with how easy it has been to get in touch with Beyond Academy both before and during my internship, either by email or WhatsApp, which has made me feel safer and given me a more smooth experience. Additionally, the events Beyond Academy offer has introduced me to lovely people from around the world and helped me find activities and locations I would never find on my own. The career sessions offered were also very informative and helpful.

I loved that communication with beyond was very easy and efficient. Finding a job for me was not easy at first but I was always given updates that they were still looking and that I could be rest assured. The email responses were always quick and with very detailed and helpful responses. I also liked that there were many opportunities to meet and have fun with other beyond members. There were many planned trips that showed us the heart of the city, and plans could also be changed based on our own preferences.

I really enjoyed spending 12 weeks in Dublin. This was my first time leaving my country, but I felt really supported by the coordinators with Beyond Academy. They were always available to answer questions and provide helpful information about the city. They even were willing to step in if I had any issues with my internship. My main complaint was the intensity of working 40 hours a week for free. I knew that was the expectation, but it was draining and difficult especially since my internship was not something that I was super passionate about. The others in the program with me also struggled with wanting to go explore the city after spending all day working. If I were to do this program again, I would probably insist on a 4 day work week at a minimum.

Had been the most wonderful journey that I have started, with a mix of business development which took place with the company they had places me with and adventure with the other interns in the community and also a lot of randoms haha. Taught me a lot of things throughout the way and also gave me lot to think about within my self. With an substancial amount of self confidence that grew with my time with them, all I can say is it has been insane. Also got to experience a insane amount of culture that’s unseen in the world.

During my 2-month internship in Dublin, I had the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally. The team was welcoming and supportive, fostering a positive learning environment. Dublin’s vibrant culture, rich history, and friendly locals made my stay enjoyable. I gained hands-on experience in my field and learned about workplace dynamics in an international context. The company provided valuable mentorship, helping me refine my skills while allowing me to contribute to meaningful projects. This experience not only boosted my career prospects but also broadened my cultural perspective, making it a truly enriching journey.
