Amsterdam Internships with Beyond Academy

I absolutely loved my experience with Beyond Academy. I always felt 100% supported and safe in a country I’ve never been too. My internship experience was so valuable to my career development and I was able to meet so many amazing people I will know my entire life. This experience is so beneficial in so many ways and I would do it all over again if I could! Amsterdam was also one of the most perfect locations any student could choose. It is such a big city that has everything one would need. I would do anything to go back!

I loved that communication with beyond was very easy and efficient. Finding a job for me was not easy at first but I was always given updates that they were still looking and that I could be rest assured. The email responses were always quick and with very detailed and helpful responses. I also liked that there were many opportunities to meet and have fun with other beyond members. There were many planned trips that showed us the heart of the city, and plans could also be changed based on our own preferences.

The program itself was very well organized, they help to refine your resume, then look for interviews, find housing, pick you up from the airport and even plan multiple events every week so you get to know the people in your program and get a feel for the city you’re staying in. I was in Amsterdam and it was the most amazing experience, the internship was super cool but the best part was being in the city and having the ability to travel wherever on the weekends, I’ll cherish these memories forever.

Entering Beyond Academy, I felt a bit apprehensive. However, it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. The program helped me forge new friendships and connections while providing invaluable experiences. Although I believe my specific program could have benefited from a stronger scientific focus rather than a marketing one, my time here was immensely worthwhile. Brooklyn, the area coordinator, was amazing. For its first year in Amsterdam, Beyond Academy has been a resounding success.

I had a great time in Amsterdam through Beyond Academy. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to intern abroad and beyond academy is a great way to do just that. There were lots of activities that you can go to when you aren’t at work. Brooklyn was incredibly nice and funny, and made sure that everyone felt comfortable and at home. I believe that if you want to experience another country or if you just want to gain some experience in your chosen field, this is a great way to do just that.

Brooklyn was amazing at getting everyone settled and welcome. The events she planned were so much fun and brought people together quickly. She was also quick to help when I was ill.

My internship was very interesting and I enjoyed learning from my experiences. I was able to make mistakes, explore, and progress. This provided a lot of motivation for the next steps in my professional career.

I would highly recommend this program to anyone wondering what it’s like to live in Europe, or specifically the Netherlands.

I had a great experience with Beyond Academy in Amsterdam! I enjoyed the internship they helped me find, and I liked the people I met. My group leader (Brooklyn) was also very helpful. She was great at responding, gave some great suggestions for around Amsterdam, and was super fun to be around! I met some great people who had a lot of the same interests as me. Exploring Amsterdam was also amazing, this city was great to be a solo traveler, and I saw some amazing museums and other tourist attractions. Overall I had an extremely positive experience.
