Great program

I recently completed my TESOL/TEFL certification, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! The program was well-structured, covering everything from lesson planning to classroom management, making me feel confident to teach English. The content was knowledgeable, supportive, and provided practical, real-world insights. I especially enjoyed the interactive components, which allowed for hands-on practice. The course was engaging and flexible, perfect for fitting into a busy schedule. Overall, it was an enjoyable and rewarding journey, and I feel fully prepared for my teaching career!

Interesting Course!

I learned a lot about how to teach English as a second language, I have always loved to teach because it allows me to build relationships with children, teenagers and adults and I can help them to reach their achivements. So this course has enough tools for you to teach English face to face or online. I learned how to keep students motivated in spite of their restless, how to avoid boredom in my class and make them engaging. I'm motivated to teach English overseas while traveling. It would be amazing.

What would you improve about this program?
Include more videos showing how other teachers teach with different teaching techniques, and reviews of the students.

Enjoyable Course

I thoroughly enjoyed my online course. It was a great refresher on the English language that I learned back when I was a child. It was very easy to read and understand the course and questions. I feel like I might even choose to start another one of your online courses, to expand my knowledge even more before I jump into the classroom. I feel that you provided a lot of information on things like, job opportunities from online schools and such who we can maybe gain employment from.

Thank you.
Bevan

Experiencing TESOL for the first time

It was good to learn essential knowledge you need to know before you start your teaching job. TESOL gave me a new eye-opening source and technological platform to further improve my online teaching. The quizzes after each module were nice and fun to answer. Although one thing I'd like to comment is the way the participants can answer the same questions for four time at the final exam. Other then that, the overall learning experience with TESOL team is pretty awesome. Thank you to the board of service provider for creating such a nice and effective platform for English learners around the world.

What was your funniest moment?
When I thought I have finished the chapters, there were still more coming up. (Trust me, some modules have pretty long lessons to complete.)
Pros
  • Fun to learn
  • Beneficial to teachers
  • Quick to understanding the context
Cons
  • Should include more topics about teaching to adults
  • Should provide the learners a free source to download some lessons
  • Should cover some problems TESOL teachers face with in their classes

Easy, enjoyable and recommend!

I enjoyed completing the TESOL, I found the course very easy to navigate and the content very relevant, it is broken down into very clear modules. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get started with teaching ESL. If you don´t start teaching straight away following the course, I would definitley recommend purchasing the option that allows you to return to the course at anytime, there is a lot of content and terminology so it would be useful for you to be able to view the course content as and when you need a refresher.

Further Heights

I was a little skeptical about the program and the real use of the whole material for the certificate, but as I went through it in detail, it became relevant and evident to me that I was really reaching higher ground with my knowledge of the English language. I was excited to learn, and the way the content was laid out made me feel at ease at all times. I loved all the examples given and the clear explanations that taught me new concepts and tricks to become the best teacher possible. Thanks to this program I really have a chance to better jobs and wages, and so be a better version of myself as a teacher and person.

Tesol Course Experience

It was a great and fun way to learn this course. I am more equipped and more credible as a teacher. I was able to refresh topics that I had before so it is very helpful when I start teaching English. Some topics are quite hard to understand since it is too wordy. As a visual learner, I find it challenging but I was able to overcome it. Some topics are also very easy, and easy to remember. It was an amazing experience for me since I wanted to teach in South Korea. It gives me the key to one step closer to my dreams.

What was your funniest moment?
When I retry a quiz. It just funny how some lessons are a bit difficult to understand.
Pros
  • It's convenient
  • No time constraints
Cons
  • Too wordy

Feeling Confident and Ready to Teach!

I recently completed my TESOL certification with World TESOL Academy and can confidently say it was a fantastic experience that left me fully prepared to start teaching English. When I first looked into getting certified, I had a lot of questions: Would the course be comprehensive? Would I actually learn how to teach? Would it be worth the time and money? Now, having completed the program, I can say World TESOL Academy exceeded my expectations.

The course content was thorough, engaging, and practical. It covered everything from grammar and lesson planning to classroom management and teaching techniques. I appreciated that the lessons were broken down into easy-to-digest modules with clear explanations and real-world examples. The interactive quizzes and assignments really helped reinforce what I was learning. By the end, I felt like I had a solid grasp of not just the theory behind teaching English but also the practical skills needed to manage a classroom effectively.

One thing that stood out was the support from the staff. They were incredibly responsive to questions and provided detailed feedback on assignments. I remember struggling with one of the teaching methodologies and my tutor went out of her way to provide additional resources and one-on-one guidance which made a huge difference. The course was also self-paced which was perfect for me because I could fit it around my schedule without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

One of the highlights of the program was the practical teaching component where I had the chance to apply what I learned. It wasn’t just about reading and answering quizzes; I got to create lesson plans, record myself teaching, and receive constructive feedback. This hands-on experience was invaluable and gave me the confidence that I can actually do this in a real classroom setting.

While I had a great overall experience, there were a few minor areas where the program could improve. Some of the video lectures felt a bit outdated and I think adding more interactive content like live webinars or virtual classroom sessions would enhance the learning experience. It would have been great to connect with other students as well, maybe through a discussion forum or group project to share ideas and get different perspectives.

Overall, I highly recommend World TESOL Academy to anyone looking to get into teaching English. The course is comprehensive, the staff are supportive, and the flexibility allows you to learn at your own pace. I left the program feeling confident and excited to start my teaching journey. If you’re considering TESOL certification and want a program that offers great value for money while thoroughly preparing you for the real world of teaching, World TESOL Academy is a fantastic choice. I’m excited to put everything I’ve learned into practice and feel fully equipped to step into a classroom anywhere in the world.

Excellent service

Super excited about this program, and very glad I finished it. Tough? Yes
Worth it? Absolutely. All my life I have studied in the English language, I am not even as fluent in my mother tongue( akoose) as I am in English, yet this was very enriching, adding to my teaching experience and techniques, I must say I am over prepared for the next phase of my career. If you're looking to get into full-time teaching especially teaching English, I highly recommend it. If you are passionate about teaching, you're already an English language teacher or perhaps you want to improve as a user of the language, this program is for you as long as you're 18+.

What would you improve about this program?
The only thing I may want to add not change , is to encourage many Africans to take this, what I don't understand is why Africa isn't considered English, especially West Africa, my country Cameroon is bilingual, we have English -Cameroon and French Cameroon, I mean all our lives we have studied in English and most of us have clear and clean English accents, we Only can speak English.
Pros
  • Easy to use platform
  • Very resourceful
  • Great arena to improve as a teacher
Cons
  • Very intense
  • Time consuming
  • Many quizzes 😂
