Learning and teaching English has always been an adventure for me and I am glad this course has been a part of it. Even though my major is teaching, this course has showed me that there are still many aspects to consider in different contexts with different people. I took many notes during the lessons to both reinforce and add to my knowledge. During the lessons I had the chance to refresh my information about the units and parts of English. Thank you World Tesol Academy for making this a handy and enjoyable adventure, also helping us enrich our potential.

At first, I enrolled in this program only because was a requirement for getting a job in the country I was going to soon. But after the first module, I realized that the content is really interesting, useful, and valuable. I have to notice, that an engagement level is great. Despite that the course is designed for 120 hours, I finished it within 3 days. I just couldn't stop because is was like an interesting book that was written especially for me.

The website navigation is very convenient and I liked that I could check the progress. When I got tired, I opened the main page, saw a progress bar, and immediately felt that I was ready for another module. All the course is made with care and attention, I didn't even have to use the help of a support tutor. The video lessons with examples and explanations were just game-changers for me, it had never been so easy to study. Thanks a lot to teacher Jay :)

It was my first TESOL course and I really took it seriously but it gave me the opportunity to organize all the thoughts and experiences I had in my mind. Thank you so much, for also making it more accessible and self - guide. I would like to say there were some moments where I thought I was not gonna finish the course, but I had already done like 60%, and then I kept pushing until I finished it. The beginning is the biggest part of the course, the rest can be really well complemented with experience and patience.

The World TESOL Academy gave me the opportunity to get the TESOL/TEFL certificate I wanted for a very reasonable price. The website was easy to navigate; the lessons were clear, structured, and practical. It's a great option for anyone who is thinking about getting certified to teach in-person or online. Not only has it reinforced my memory, but it has also further expanded my knowledge. I am now looking forward to using what I learned during this online course to help my students achieve their goals.

This program helps me gain a broad understanding of how to teach English as a foreign language. With no teaching background, it helps me learn different methods of teaching, from beginner to advanced levels, especially for non-English speakers. It includes video demonstrations on how to present the subject, create lesson plans, and provides tips for teaching efficiently. I enjoyed every module, as it was simple yet informative. This program will be invaluable to me as I plan to pursue teaching in a foreign country.

I really enjoyed this course and would highly recommend it to anyone. The structure of the course is easy to follow and self explanatory. The content is comprehensive and well laid out with all the information needed to start a career in English education. The addition of video's which give a glimpse into handling a class assisted my understanding greatly and was highly motivational. The 4 month time period that is given in order to complete the course is more than sufficient. The final exam was tough and the odd question is slightly unclear but still excellent!

Compared to many other TESOL training agencies, I must say World Academy is the best for New Teachers. At least it's much cheaper.
First of all, compared to TKT textbook, World Tesol Academy's 120h course is compact and concise, but covering various aspects of how to teach. And you don't have to take an offline exam, so it's also cost-saving. However, since you can take multiple times to get a higher record of the quiz, and you don't need to give demo class or write any essays, I would say it's easier to pass the exam, thus to say, you won't have production training neither receive any feedback of it. So it's not as challenging as to pass CELTA. So I think it's your best first teaching certification.
Moreover, even if you have passed TKT, you can still learn something from TESOL. For example, you will learn how to teach online which is illustrated in a whole module but not mentioned much in TKT. Compared to some TKT textbooks, I would say TESOL is more updated.
Last but not least, you always have a tutor to ask if you have any questions. This is the most surprising part of the course. As a new teacher, you may encounter many problems while teaching, such as class management. Personally, I asked three practical questions which were not related to the exam, but I still received very detailed and helpful suggestions. I think this is the most valuable service for new teachers.
However, if you're an experienced teacher, I think CELTA or DELTA would be better choices.
