This course has been fantastic from start to finish. I remained engaged throughout and was able to complete it at a pace of my choosing which allowed me to integrate it into my day. The podcasts from James were a great addition and it was helpful to have the insight of someone who has experienced teaching abroad. I am now much more confident in my ability to teach English as a foreign language and I look forward to applying everything I have learnt to my teaching in China. This course has opened the world of teacher to me.

Great course which offers a meticulously structured and detailed overview of essential knowledge that has me feeling prepared to teach in front of a class of students from a variety of ages and backgrounds.

The course uses a well-rounded teaching approach by allowing you to utilise different learning styles from content including podcasts, in-depth explanations, quizzes and worksheets, and more. I've also gained great inspiration for my own inevitable lesson planning.

I completed this TEFL course in order to secure a job overseas in Vietnam. Having a TEFL certification opens up so many doors for native English speakers to work abroad. Once you have a TEFL you can work almost anywhere! This course had an easy-to-use platform, was extremely organized, and provided good examples that demonstrated classroom activities well. As someone who is new to the world of teaching English as a Foreign language, I have been going through the motions of excitement, nervousness, and at times being at a loss on what my next step should be in preparation for my trip to teach in China. For someone who does not have a lot of teaching experience or navigating the classroom, TEFL Nomad's 120 hr course really steps in with its modules breaking down the main components of teaching, making some of the most difficult aspects of teaching (grammar, classroom management, etc.) engaging and creative by providing a lot material and ideas to include in your own classroom and something to look forward to and not dread in your teaching journey. Overall, what sets this course apart from others is its emphasis on practical application and empathy when it comes to students. A lot of the information in this course is extremely valuable for those beginning their TEFL journey. The course is structured well and increases in rigor as you move through. I The topics can be a bit repetitive sometimes, which can get monotonous. However, it further helps drive some of the necessary points home. The sections regarding grammar, classroom environment, and lesson planning were notably helpful. The podcasts and sample worksheets were great supplementary materials along with the course readings. I am fortunate to have obtained such useful information and will gladly employ these concepts in the classroom! I thoroughly enjoyed this course!
