Great course, it was thorough and easy to follow. I particularly enjoyed the podcasts and found the questions clear. I would definitely recommend this course to my friends and colleagues.

Broad coverage of English grammar, I particularly enjoyed the sections on class room managment, teaching methods and engaging younger learners. There are some great content which will be useful for transferring to the classroom.

After every section there is a multiple choice question. I found the flexibility of the course really helpful to fit around other commitments.

A really fab, simple and easy to use course. Each topic is well organised, it was also nice to be able to track progress on the side. This also made it easy to jump back to previous sections to recap information. Found it really helpful that there was lot of examples, especially in the lesson planning and worksheet section. It was also very straightforward to follow along. Was not as time consuming as I initialed thought it would be. Also, the grammar sections were really straightforward and helped me learn some things! Only con, would be the questions in the end of unit tests. They were more like riddles and not always easy to follow. But I did like being tested after each section. Would 100% recommend.

The course is well constructed in manageable pieces. I never felt overwhelmed and enjoyed being able to take the course at my own pace. The materials provided were also excellent, some great starter structures for things like lesson plans. At first I worried that it would take me a long time to complete but I picked it up very quickly.

The insight provided by the podcasts throughout the course were also excellent, giving that vital bit of extra insight into the life as a teacher abroad.

Can not wait to continue my TEFL journey!

Very well-structured and engaging course which brought me up to date both on English grammar and TEFL skills. Examines new and old approaches to TEFL, language acquisition theories etc, and applies the theory practically, with plenty of example exercises to include in the basic lesson plan structure. The course is mostly text-based with a few short podcasts of roughly 4 min each scattered between, which allows me to continue through the course at my own pace. I am new to teaching, and this course has done a good job of calming my nerves before I head out to China.

This is an amazing course! It is well structured and in depth. It offers detailed knowledge that prepares you for a TEFL career. It is structured in a way that allows for the knowledge
you gain, as you progress throughout the course, to interact with each other to give you a solid foundation of information. Although some parts may be a little bit more difficult, it guides you through the lessons and explains everything clearly and effectively. It is also great to gain insight from a real EFL teacher through the podcasts with James. This course does not just teach you about the English language but, additionally, how to be confident within a classroom setting (in person or online) with tips, techniques and information about how to manage a classroom, how to lesson plan effectively, how to motivate your students and so much more. I am in the process of starting a TEFL adventure overseas and this course has been invaluable. I have really enjoyed this course and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to start their TEFL career.

A great informative set of resources were available, the challenge of re-learning grammar structures was made easier with the support and learning pathway provided on this course. There are so many TEFL providers and it can be a struggle finding one that seems right for you, I'm glad I made the choice to use this course based on the experience I had.

A great first step for anyone looking to put a TEFL qualification to good use, it makes the prospect of teaching English less daunting. I'm exited to use it myself.

The course covers a lot of very in-depth information about teaching English. It covers more than just grammar and the act of teaching itself. It has really helped me get into the correct mindset for successfully taking on a TEFL job.
I really enjoyed the use of examples and visuals to clear up and give more information about trickier concepts. Also, the videos and downloadable PDFs will be in my tool kit to take to my TEFL employment, reminding me of important features.
The organization of the program is also very easy to manage and revisiting sections when needed is extremely easy with the clear and direct topic names.

For preparation for TEFL roles, this course provides excellently structured and assessed content depth; whilst it may seem daunting to "re-learn" grammar principles and components we intrinsically know as an adult, the course provided easily understandable, thorough explanations for both grammar and classroom teaching techniques. It provided great insight into the "do's" and "don'ts" of TEFL teaching that will prove incredibly beneficial for the role afterwards.

I will definitely be utilising the key points i have learnt during this course into my TEFL teaching journey next year.

This course was excellent and very easy to follow! It covered a variety of subjects that certainly would assist me increase my knowledge and comprehension of important material. James podcasts made the course very interesting and gave the course a variety of techniques to consume the information. Everything you need to know, from lesson plans/ ideas to testing your own English proficiency. This training has aided me in beginning my new journey as an English teacher overseas. I strongly recommend this course since it's really flexible as you can finish it on your own time schedule, and the knowledge I gained would undoubtedly be useful to me. I had the assistance when I needed it and this was very useful to me.

I really enjoyed the podcasts embedded throughout the course, they kept me interested and engaged. I learned a lot. I would recommend this course strongly! It covered lots of points that other programs may not touch such as classroom management. It also had a great section about English grammar and gave insightful tips about how to teach some more difficult grammar topics to younger kids. I actually looked forward to going back to do more of the course because it got me so excited about becoming a teacher!
