Advanced Studies in England: Semester in Bath
- England
About Program
Come and spend a stimulating and challenging semester in the World Heritage city of Bath in south-west England. We offer a wide-range of academically-rigorous courses across the liberal arts curriculum, taught as small class seminars (maximum size of 13 students and an average of 6 to 8) or one-on-one Oxford style tutorials, all taught by British professors. There's also an opportunity to take one of a range of fascinating internships - including such options as the Roman Baths Museum, the 44AD art space and gallery, The American Museum and Mr B's Emporium of Reading Delights - or an education placement in a local school.
You'll live in the heart of Bath, housed in self-catered apartments in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century townhouses, and we actively encourage you to participate in the community. You also travel away from the city, with a week at University College Oxford and another at Stratford-upon-Avon, as well as a large number of course-related and cultural study trips.
