My name is Aamer, and I am from India. I am currently studying in berlin doing my masters. When I arrived in 2020, it was proper COVID time. So, at start there was difficulty. Then as the time passed I got used to it, and from there on it was just a roller coaster of a ride. Because in Berlin it's quite difficult to find a house for yourself and there is a huge language barrier as well, but people are very friendly.

And now I am in final semester of my masters, and in few months I will be graduating. So, the overall experience was good and I learned many things in these 2 years.

I really like that you can easily study online next to your work. The teaching material is strong in content and the guidance during the study makes it easier to go through it. The study is very practice-oriented, which makes the content more relevant and understandable.
It took some time to get the required documents to start, conditions were not very clear.
Great price, it was the best offer for online Master I found.
It was also nice that you can start your exams whenever you want also in the middle of the night.

What is your favorite travel memory?

I love nature and sports. My favorite travels have always been exploring the natural beauty of countries by bike, canoe, or by foot. Living in Europe gives you access to so many beautiful places, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, only to name a few.

And the diversity is amazing, from food to architecture to landscapes. It's a real treat for anyone.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Being able to work with and meet so many people from different countries has made me very versatile and able to adapt to any situation. It also helps you develop your communication skills which also grows your general confidence. You become much more socially empathic, and a gives you a world of opportunities.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

We have students from really small towns that had the courage to move to a big city and study there. The best stories are always the students that went back to their community and helped other people make that same decision. They act as ambassadors for us but, more importantly, for giving access to education to young people all over the world.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would do a bachelor's studies in Berlin. Not only can you choose from over 50 study subjects, but the campus is located in the heart of the city, and Berlin is one of the most exciting cities I've ever come across. The people are open-minded, and there's just a limitless offer of things to do and see, and it's all affordable.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

The flexibility is really unique in the sense that you can study how, where, and when you want. We're especially proud of being able to offer affordable quality education. As we offer all courses in English, we can really offer a unique opportunity to people that had no access to this type of education before.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Continuous improvement of many aspects of studying, it being program content, campus facilities, support to students, tools, cultural agenda, etc. Being able to adapt to technological or social changes quickly and learn from mistakes made in the past is really important for an institution in higher education.
