SeoulESL

Working with SeoulESL to find a teaching position in South Korea was incredibly easy. They were easy to communicate with and helpful with every step in the process, and assisted me in finding a job that would allow me to start teaching even though I had very little practical experience.

They found a role for me and helped arrange an interview with the school, and shortly after I was offered the job! The entire process only took about 3 months. I left my previous job in June 2023, and was in South Korea by early October. They continue to check in to see how I'm doing, and I will definetely use them again if I need to seek out another teaching job within the country.

Friendly and quick communication

Once they guided me through all the necessary paperwork for a visa, I started receiving job offers almost immediately.

They also sent me messages when I landed and asked how I was, which I appreciated.

You a provided with clear messages about what you need, and what to expect for each part of the process. I rarely felt confused about what was happening, and anytime I wasn't sure they were able to provide a quick and clear answer. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in teaching in South Korea!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Don't worry about how you'll be received in the country. The majority of people here are very polite and soft-spoken.

So Helpful!

I applied to so many jobs after getting my TEFL certificate and didn't get even one reply, within two days of being accepted by ESL I had an interview with a school. Throughout the whole process of coming to Korea, ESL have helped me with everything, from helping me with the visa process to planning for my flight, I genuinely dont think I would even be in Korea right now if it wasn't for ESL's help. They are a brilliant company, especially for new English teachers as they ensure the teachers have lots of support both before and after they get to Korea!

Very supportive

Throughout my journey , the programme has been very supportive. From my interview to my visa application. Everything was easy as they would give me step by step instructions and detailed information that made my move easy and smooth. I truly do recommend anyone wanting to teach in a foreign land to join and get the same experience as I did . I wouldn’t have had a fast transition to my journey if the programme didn’t play a hand in it. I am truly grateful for the assistance and hope you also choose this programme for your journey

Seoul ESL experience

My experience with Seoul ESL was excellent. I felt very safe and supported throughout the whole process. Whenever I ran into any problems, the team was quick to resolve them. The communication was very prompt and easy. I personally worked with Grace, not only was she efficient and professional, but also very kind and thoughtful. Going to a new country for the first time, especially when you don't speak the language, can be a little scary. I didn't feel that way because she was with me every step of the way.

Great Program

My experience through this recruiter was quite excellent! The communication was great throughout the whole process. Whenever i had a question, it was answered and in a timely fashion. They also arranged someone to pick me up at the airport. Even though there were some troubles, and miscommunications with the driver, Grace was very helpful and quick to respond. This allowed me to get picked up successfully. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who asks. They were helpful and wonderful.

Great Recruiter, Highly Recommend

Seoul ESL is an excellent recruiter that helped me every step of the way to Korea. They are excellent at communicating and make sure you know exactly what you need to receive a VISA. They sent a car to pick me up from the airport and were extremely kind throughout the process. If I ever look for another teaching job in Korea, I will be sure to reach back out to them. They will help you find the job you most prefer and be kind the entire way through. I will not use another recruiter. Thank you so much!

Great company to work with

I worked with Grace. From the very get go, she was polite and responded fast to the many emails I sent her. Grace not only answered all questions I had but put my mind at ease by providing my with an abundance of information that I had never even considered beforehand.

When I first decided to work in Korea, I had a somewhat specific list, such as location, requirements from the school such as working hours, and distance from the work place to the accomodations. Not only did I find a school that had the exact hours I would like to work but my accomodation is literally a 5 minute walk which made me very happy especially as I didn't want to have to try to navigate buses and subways from day 1.

Pros
  • Fast response
  • Continued support thought every part of the process
  • Constant communication
