Unwavering Support

My experience with SeoulESL consulting has been amazing, to say the least. After completing my undergraduate studies in May of 2020, I knew I wanted to begin this journey of moving abroad to South Korea to teach English. With the COVID-19 pandemic wreaking havoc on the world, I feared that schools wouldn't be interested. Luckily I stumbled across Seoul ESL. My recruiters have been nothing but helpful, supportive, and understanding throughout this entire process. Don't hesitate to choose SeoulESL!

Great experience with SeoulESL recruiting

I received great support from my recruiter Danielle at SeoulESL. She walked me through all the steps for visa application and answered every single one of my many questions. I’m really thankful for her patience and for helping me secure a job in Korea at an awesome private school. :) This is my first time coming to Korea to teach so I didn’t even know where to start and with covid everything seemed even more complicated but thanks to all the help, I got to Korea safely and can’t wait to start working.

Seamless Support Experience

I had taught in Korea previously, hired through EPIK. This time around I was interested in expanding my options and looked into non-public school job postings. It was a little overwhelming, so I figured applying to a recruitment agency would take some of the stress away. Chloe with Seoul ESL took care of me from beginning to end. She set me up with a great list of jobs throughout Korea, and I was lucky enough to interview successfully with my first pick. Chloe stayed in consistent contact with me over the following months and helped me navigate the complicated process of visa applications and Covid-19 travel policies. She always replied promptly to my questions and made sure I had all the resources to make my travel to Korea as smooth as possible.

Very happy with my experience with Seoul ESL

I am very pleased with the placement and support I got from Seoul ESL and my recruiter, Chloe. Coming to Korea during the pandemic and finding a job in a great part of Seoul was something other recruiters said was not possible but it was an extremely quick and painless process. Additionally Seoul ESL guided me through some particularities that exist due to coronavirus. I would happily recommend this service to those looking to come to Korea to teach. This is my second time coming to Korea and it was even easier than the first, even with additional formalities.

Chloe at Seoul ESL - patient, friendly and supportive

I’ve already experienced working in Korea, I had a great deal of support from my former employer and was worried it wouldn’t be the same and as personal with a recruiter. Perhaps this is usually the case, but not with Chloe. To start with, she made me feel very comfortable in the screening interview and almost straight away had some preference-matching suggestions for me. This is particularly impressive considering the pandemic, the amount of people looking for work at the moment and academies choosing not to have as many foreign teachers due to lower attendance numbers. Chloe was patient with my because I was a little bit fussy with my location and the kind of academy I was looking to work for. My placement maybe took a bit longer than most. Teaching in Korea is hard and a lot of academies are far from perfect, but I had a lot of trust in Seoul ESL to not partner with schools that would treat their staff badly. I have already spent a year in Korea and I couldn’t recommend it more. I’m sure I’ll come into problems in and outside or work, but the part of the process that couldn’t have been easier and more supported was the job application and arrival

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
When reading reviews here, bear in mind that Seoul ESL consulting is a recruiter and the only part of the program that they are involved in is assisting you with the beginning of your year in Korea. If someone puts a review here advising that they don't like their job, while it's easy to want to blame your recruiter, it's not in any part their responsibility.

Working with Chloe through Seoul ESL Consulting was the best!

After taking my TELF course in San Francisco, I found Seoul ESL Consulting on the TEFL job posting site. Chloe has been amazing! She made the entire process smooth and easy to understand. Even through the Corona Virus challenges she never missed a beat and knew exactly how to assist me in getting through the red tape. With her help, I was placed in a great school and outstanding neighborhood. Chloe walked me through the entire process from the airport, to transport specifics, and to my quarantine apartment. Working with Chloe through Seoul ESL Consulting was the best and I will be recommending my fellow TEFL classmates.

Great experience with SeoulESL

I was having a very difficult time finding a job during the Covid-19 pandemic, and Chloe Park at SeoulESL was absolutely great. So friendly and helpful. She managed to find a job for me in the area I was looking for and answered all of my questions quickly and clearly. Even under the very odd and stressful circumstances of the pandemic, she clearly laid out everything I had to do to find a position in Korea and get here. The whole process went as smoothly as it could have under the circumstances, and a lot of that is because of the hard work and excellent communication from Chloe. It was a great experience and I will definitely be contacting SeoulESL again if I'm looking for a new position in the future.

Amazing Experience! Thank You, Chloe!

I had wonderful experience with ESL Consulting, specifically with Chloe Park. The process of moving abroad to teach English is overwhelming, but even during a global pandemic, I felt at ease and taken care of. I would not be here in Korea if not for Chloe's guidance, clear and quick communication and overall patience.

I cannot recommend ESL Consulting enough! Not only was the service amazing, but I also LOVE the school Chloe helped me land a job at. I've been in Korea for 7 weeks now and have been so happy with my time here thus far. From finding me a great position to helping me all the way through quarantine, ESL Consulting never left me with any doubts or worries. Thank you for all of your help, I appreciate it so much!
