I've had a passion for teaching since I was quite young, and I wanted to achieve more before actually starting to teach. That's when I came across this course 120hr TESOL/TEFL Course. I read a few articles about this course and wanted to give it a try. From the start it was so very interesting and I wanted to finish it soon and I did in less than 2 weeks. Their study materials are so helpful and it helped me learn things that I wasn't so sure about too and everything is explained so very well. Thank you so much for an amazing course like this.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

Extremely scared to do the final exam, so I studied all night to try and calm myself before the exam the next day.

It has in depth knowledge of the English language teaching concepts .The course has helped me to teach and guide my learners in the correct way .The various learning materials which they advised to use have provided to be beneficial in teaching .I also noticed that it gave me the confidence to approach non English speakers.Its really worth taking and one can never go wrong in partaking this course .It has opened doors for me and I really recommend this course to everyone considering to teach English !!!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

This is the best program ever , dont blink, do it now !

I used to teach with DaDa (aka "Dodo") but over the past few months I started to move over to private tutoring. I got this course originally just to fatten up my resume so that I could show students and parents my certifications. But then I actually found that I learned quite a lot it. I learned about parts of grammar that I had no idea even existed, learned about phonics, different language skills like scanning & skimming, and planning lessons with actual strategies like PPP.

After finishing the 120 hour TESOL/TEFL course I did their 80 hour online teacher course and learned a lot about TPR, using Many Cam, finding my own students, sending invoices to Chinese parents using Stripe, and so on. I left DaDa last week and i'm now privately tutoring 10 students of my own. I charge more per hour than when i worked with DaDa and get to teach using my own materials. It's much more satisfying and I've actually started to enjoy teaching online again. I couldn't recommend it more.

What was your funniest moment?

Practicing ventriloquism for my demo video. I got a cheap hand puppet from amazon and spent the weekend trying to make a demo video to show parents how I could use puppets with young students. It took a lot of self control to not laugh while using it but i'm (almost) a natural now.

Heather and Stephanie really made this much easier for me. I struggled at first with the grammar lessons (compound complex sentences 😅) but the tutors were really patient and helped me to understand everything. At times I felt as though I was troubling them but they were always really supportive.

I got go the end of the course in just under three weeks and scored 98% in my final exam. Really, really proud of myself to get through. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend World Tesol to anybody else. 😁

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

The final exam! I was worried about this but I revised my notes, gave it a go, and conquered it 🙌.

Highly recommended. The course price is way lower than what World Tesol Academy provides. The course is full of helpful knowledge - for improving my own English level and in the same time for teaching English. The structure of the course and the software to guide one through is user-friendly and makes fun to keep up with the course material. Additionally emails were replied always promptly and overly polite and friendly. For just 34$ this course is by far the best offer I could find. Thank you so much!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

When I couldn't find my online certificate anymore. After checking my cloud, my email program and my profile with World TESOL I became slightly nervous. Sending them an email and receiving a prompt reply even during the Christmas holidays solved the issue within the shortest time.

The course begins with very simple and basic facts so I think it is beneficial for freshers in teaching carrer. It covers not only about the matters involved with physical classes but also about online classes. This course taught us something that we are not considered about such as wearing a particular t-shirt in online classes, using puppets and about maintaining facial expressions and body gestures. Actually I invited one of my friends to join this marvellous opportunity to be a TESOL certified teacher. She also very satisfied about this course as this course is very flexible.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

Hurry up and grab the opportunity. Don't miss this chance. It is essential to be well-equiped with necessary knowledge to survive in education field now a day. So don't be hesitate.

The teaching materials are first-class – comprehensive and easy to understand. The assignments are challenging, but very interesting and engaging, and everything you need to complete them is in the teaching materials.
I feel that I have learned a lot from this course. It has been especially useful to me that I was able to do some teaching work at the same time, and so had the opportunity to put into practice some of what I was learning. I enjoyed the course and will miss it!

What was the most surprising thing you saw or did?

the most surprising i saw is the SECRET film, because it is the biggest hidden secret in the world

For my 22 years of existence up until today, I do not know what career path do I really want to take in my life. All I know is that I love English. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been in love in this subject and everything that's about it. Through English, I freely express my honest thoughts and opinions regarding topics. Enrolling in World TESOL Academy has been a great experience for me. The lessons are very detailed and I have learned all the necessary skills that I have been wanting to learn about for a long time now. Everything is very good from the topics up to the support system which is very responsive, they took care of the students very well. Another thing I love about enrolling in here is that the price is affordable for many people but the lessons are highly good and advanced. I am grateful for this opportunity to be able to study here and this entire experience is something always treasure. Thank you very much World TESOL Academy.

My advice to the future travelers of this program is to have fun. Everything in this entire program is very good, honestly really good. I am not saying this only because I am a graduate but I am saying this based true experience and from the heart. Anyone will learn so much and wil never regret enrolling here.

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

Going into my experience teaching English as a foreign language overseas, my biggest fear was not being able to effectively connect with and engage my students due to language barriers and cultural differences. I worried that my limited experience in new cultural settings might make it challenging to communicate and build rapport.

I overcame this fear by investing time in learning about the local culture and customs, actively seeking feedback from students and colleagues, and adapting my teaching methods to better suit their needs. As I gained more experience and confidence, I realized that being flexible and open to learning from my students greatly enhanced my teaching effectiveness. My views on the issue evolved as I understood that building relationships and understanding local contexts are key to successful teaching abroad.

Answer: One memorable experience from teaching English abroad was organizing a cultural exchange event where my students and I shared stories and traditions from our respective cultures.
