I wasn’t really sure if teaching English was going to be for me. I had all the prerequisites (other than the TEFL certificate) and so decided to give it a shot.

I found myself gaining confidence from the material within the course due to the many different ways in which the information is presented. I was learning useful information that I could really see helping me in the classroom. The little tests at the end of each module prepare you for the exam at the end, and I gained so much insight from going through the process.

The progress is gradual. Competencies and skill were build progressively upon each other. The course offers practical examples of how to address different situations and respond to specific needs. There are options and alternative ways to tackling a situation differently depending on the age and level of the learners. It offers guidance for addressing complex situation. Most of all, there are videos and recorded material that explain in language how and why a language instructor needs to act a certain way and what language to use to ensure the learners are benefiting from the lessons offered.
I learned a lot and enjoyed the process tremendously, even when I failed.

This course was definitely worth it. I have learnt a lot from this course, the material provided is very practical and helpful. The material was summarized and straight to the point. There were assignments that had to be submitted. I found those assignments to really help in cementing what I have learned. They were very responsive in answering any of my questions during the course. I recommend this course for anyone who wants to learn the basics of Teaching English, or anyone who wants a TEFL certificate.

I went into the course not expecting much, however the course opened my eyes to the world of language education. There were many polls and videos within the course. This made it an enjoyable and interactive course. With my TEFL level 3 certificate, many teaching possibilities have opened up to me. I currently have a few interviews lined up already. The process is easy and the possibilities are plentiful. I would highly suggest this course. I did the course with a friend, so it made it fun to do.

This course was well structured and had a very easy to follow format. It allowed me to complete the modules and assignments in my own time which was important to me as I could not commit to scheduled classes. The tutors were beyond helpful when I emailed to ask questions about the assignments and I was provided with a response within a couple of hours. The assignments were well explained with high quality examples provided to guide you through the work. The assignments were also graded in a timely manner which allowed me to move onto the next task swiftly without delay.

The program as a whole was very rewarding and beneficial in regards to my self-development and education of the core essential aspects that are needed to successfully organise, plan and perform the most effective lesson plans and teaching methods necessary to help optimise student learning to the maximum. The program offered great levels of personal support in regards to the assignments that needed to be created by providing the key areas for improvement in order to meet the requirements to pass and meet the requirements. Very much recommended.
