Vietnam In-Person TEFL Course With Guaranteed Teaching Job

My hubby and I wanted to see the world and landed in Vietnam - LOVE IT! The Ninja Teacher Academy is 100% student-centric! The training and support provided to students is outstanding. The YouTube channel only scratches the surface on how wonderful the program is for newbies. As an older student, job placement was set to be a challenge. Yet, NTA connected me with a centre in Nha Trang that rarely has openings. The NTA team was the best!!! If you're on the fence, just DO IT! You won't regret it!

I found Ninja Teacher online and plenty of great reviews made them stand out from other courses. Having done the in person course in Vietnam I am so glad I chose them! They provided all the support I could have asked for months before leaving for Vietnam with plenty of tips and logistical information to help me get prepared and set up in country. Meeting the staff and my classmates was great, we had a great group who still catch up and having that instant community made HCMC feel like home much faster. The course itself was fantastic, our teacher was very experienced, professional, engaging, she was a great role model for aspiring teachers and brought such a great energy to the class throughout the course. The course can be challenging, it is a lot of important information and concepts packed into four short weeks and includes mock teaching, class observations and actual teaching, as well as lesson planning. This made it sometimes intimidating (the course materials supply a list of organisations you can contact if you need support with your mental health and wellbeing while in country), but it is ultimately the best way to get a round experience of what teaching is/feels like in Vietnam. The staff did a fantastic job of making me feel supported especially during the application stage, and I found a position I am very happy with within 15 days! Choose Ninja Teacher, they're reputation online is well deserved, and their reputation with schools in Vietnam will give you a great head start with finding work 👍🏽

It was a great month the course was a perfect balance of fun and learning. Sadie taught by example and highlighted too many of us the level to aspire to achieve in teaching. This high level of teaching training combined with Chi’s insane networking skills ensured that getting a job after the course was a breeze. I’m very thankful for ninja teacher as it not only improved my teaching ability but also helped me form a close social group in Saigon. To anyone considering doing it I would encourage you to definitely give it a go!

The ninja teacher course is a great choice if you want to be prepared to teach english and get settled in Vietnam. The course itself is taught by amazing and inspiring teachers. They teach us how to teach english in fun thought provoking ways that bring the class together. After the course the job team led by the AMAZING Chi guide you smoothly from the course to a job. They even give plenty support after the course and guide you through things like setting up bank accounts and what to look out for when applying for business visas. The community that this program fosters is very meaningful, especially as someone who never even visited Vietnam before.

I came into this course with no teaching knowledge nor experience. After the 4 weeks were finished I had learned an incredible amount of information teaching to young learners and adults. The course also presents you with multiple opportunities to observe and teach classes at local centers before you finish the course. I found this extremely helpful to see the reality of how classes are structured and what is expected of the teacher. The teacher trainers at Ninja Teacher provided quality support from day 1 and are still available to the Ninja Community, if needed, beyond course completion

The cost is minimal and the time is minimal for the overall reward but it is an intense session that will leave you exhausted once completed. I'm not sure where else you would go if not for Ninja Teacher. They did everything before hand to make it all as easy as possible.

My only regret is not doing this sooner. I've got little for me back in the states

From top to bottom, this course was worth it. I learned so much about teaching that I didn’t know, I met so many people that helped me out and I got set up for a job I’m very happy with.

Before the course even started, they helped me get everything ready to go for the move to Vietnam. To have a structure and system in place is what gave me the piece of mind that I needed to make the leap.
