About Program

Little Step Volunteering provides several volunteering opportunities in Himalaya in the state of Himachal Pradesh. we are running our different projects in two locations Palampur & Manali. Our volunteer program is related with education, cultural exchange, social issues and development of the society in a positive manner with help of international people and local community. Volunteers can work with in many different projects including : school teaching,Women empowerment,Child
care and education, Health issues, Mentally challenge children's education, Environment issues,Girls education.
we also provide India travelling, Himalaya tracking, camping and cultural & heritage,Himalayan lifestyle programs to our volunteers.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.

Yes, I recommend this program

There is a great balance of volunteering and tourism.

This is a great program I would recommend it to anyone. There is a great balance of volunteering and tourism. It is a wonderful way to see India and give back to the community. The women empowerment program really helped me to see the real India and connect w/a village in personal way. It is going to be very hard to leave these girls. This experience has opened my eyes to the daily realities of the Indian people. The community and the children were welcoming. We often were stared at but once you get over that the Indian people are helpful and curious about you and what you think about India. The accommodation was WONDERFUL. The food was EXCELLENT! Everything was well kept. The team was very helpful. This was a great program. I would consider coming back if finances allow! I had a wonderful time and I felt that I had a real Indian experience. natalie, USA
