A: Students applying to any study abroad program are eligible. Go Overseas does not officially endorse any specific study abroad programs. Go Overseas does reserve the right to determine the legitimacy of the program.
Q: What is the application deadline for the Go Overseas Study Abroad scholarship?
A: The deadline for scholarship applications may change from semester to semester. The current application deadline is May 28th, 2013.
Q: Can the Go Overseas Study Abroad Scholarship be applied to a summer study abroad program?
A: Yes. The scholarship can be applied to any study abroad program, regardless of the time of year.
Q: Can Graduate Students apply for the Go Study Abroad Scholarship?
A: Yes. Any student studying abroad is eligible to apply for the Go Study Abroad Scholarship.
Q: I'm an international student studying in the United States. Can I apply for the Go Study Abroad Scholarship?
A: Unfortunately, no. At this time we will only accept applications from university students enrolled in the United States.
Q: How are the funds awarded to recipients?
A: Standard policy is to send funds directly to the study abroad program the recipient is enrolled in. However, we recognize this may not be possible under some circumstances. We do need to ensure the funds are used for the stated purposes.
Q: I'm a non-traditional student. Can I apply for the Go Overseas Study Abroad Scholarship?
A: Yes, most certainly. Go Overseas judges Go Study Abroad scholarship applications on the quality of their content.
Q: Do students with particular majors have an advantage in applying for the Go Study Abroad Scholarship?
A: Students focusing in all majors are considered equally for the Go Study Abroad Scholarship. Applications are judged based on the quality of their content.
