Sydney Internships with Beyond Academy

I had the best time in Sydney! I learned so much during my internship, not only about the career, but about the country too. I loved the community team and they made the whole experience better. I didn’t have any issues during my program, but I knew the team would do everything they could to help if something came up. I could tell they worked so hard to plan fun events and make the experience enjoyable for everyone, all while keeping other costs very budget friendly. I highly recommend this program!!

I really enjoyed my 6 weeks in Sydney. The beyond academy leaders, Taz and Scarlett were very welcoming and always willing to help out. I really appreciated how much time they put into making sure my experience was the best possible. We would go out for dinner on Thursdays to catch up with them and Taz would usually share some interesting fact about Sydney that I would have never known if I was staying there alone. Taz always had a great monthly schedule for all of the interns and was always willing to move things around if they didn’t work for us.

I had the incredible opportunity to spend 10 weeks in Sydney with Beyond Academy, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences of my life. From start to finish, the program exceeded my expectations in every way. Even before the program began, the communication with the Beyond Academy team was excellent. They provided invaluable support with my visa application and ensured the process was smooth and stress-free.

The twice-weekly events were absolute highlights—ranging from cultural experiences to social gatherings, they were the perfect way to meet people and immerse myself in Sydney life. Throughout the program, I always felt supported and cared for. The team was always available if I had questions or needed assistance

I am so happy that I had the opportunity through Beyond Academy to live in Sydney and get to know the life down under. So thank you again for this great time. I'll never forget it!

I’ve been staying in Sydney for 10 weeks and it has been the best 10 weeks in my life. I’ve learned so much and meet so many great people! Sydney is an amazing city and the diverse culture is so unique and special. I am gonna miss this city and the people that I’ve meet. The experience that I’ve received is something that is going to help me forever. Because of the fun events beyond academy always planned, I’ve never felt alone and had something to laugh ever week. I am so happy I did this internship and I would do it over and over again.

A lot of social events! Got to do a lot around Sydney! Although the host company was small, it was directly related to my industry choice.

I signed up late, but my admissions tutor was supportive and helped me match a company before the start date! They communicated with me throughout the whole process and did their best to match me with a desired company. The support team in Sydney was amazing throughout the two-month experience! I would recommend this program to anyone considering an internship abroad!

If you are thinking about doing an internship abroad, you should do it with Beyond. Not only do they put you in contact with some incredible companies to intern with, guide you through the process and help you with the visa situation, but once you actually get to the location it's even better.
Although the accommodation could have been better, the fellow interns and the community guide make up for it fully. You have a lot of freedom in planning what you want to do during your time in Sydney, but the structure of the activities keep you occupied even if you don't want to plan things yourself.
It can be a bit intimidating going abroad, but Beyond Academy makes the experience amazing in every way, and they're fully there for you every step of the way.

If you’ve ever wondered what life down under is really like, this is the program for you. Studying abroad has its perks but only when you live and work in a place do you get a sense of what it’s all about. Beyond did a fantastic job matching me with a dream come true of a company, where the connections I made and opportunities I’d been given were worth their weight in gold. Outside of work, the included events (plus a few us interns planned) really helped us to get to know the city and culture. The opera house is a fantastic venue even if you don’t speak the language the show you’re watching is in, and the Blue Mountain Falls are breathtaking, partially because in winter the water is so cold you’ll seize up just a little bit. And if you’re ever feeling crazy, there was a pretty fantastic skydiving company just an hour inland. Good fun, right? Our community coordinator was great, and it often felt like we were meeting a local friend to go explore and get to know the hidden gems (as well as the vegan taco shops). What almost every travel website says is true, Australians are good fun. Everyone we met or talked to was so welcoming, to the point where I was able to make a friend on the beach within 5 minutes of us meeting. Locals were willing to show us about, and were more than proud of their culture and hometowns. Great people, great place, great program.

Had a really good time with this company in Sydney and we were set up with a really friendly support staff member. It was an incredible city and the company Sydney rep set us up with lots of fun activities where we could explore the city through the perspective of a local and a tourist.
The lodge was a bit out of the way across the bridge but it did mean there was a nice view on the way to the city daily.
Beyond creates a perfect opportunity for you to travel and gain experience which has really enhanced my resume.
