Such a great beautiful experience! Everyday it was so good and beautiful and blessed to be there! During my internship I have a great time, great team work, so much new knowledge! As in for the program, my PC’s were INCREDIBLE, they were so nice, so helpful about everything, always very attentive, responsible and friendly. I made a lot of friends, gain so much experience how to get around in a new city with a different language, I had such funny moments, walked a lot of steps in a day. A experience I will never forget

This internship at LMF in Paris was genuinely eye-opening. It was my first real workplace experience, and it pushed me completely out of my comfort zone, from navigating the language barrier to adjusting to a professional environment for the first time. I got real, hands-on exposure to finance that no classroom could teach me, working on projects involving businesses with real, multi-million euro financing needs.

It wasn’t without its challenges. As the internship progressed, my role shifted more toward marketing and communication tasks (LinkedIn content, visuals, even some video editing), which pulled me away from the finance-focused work I’d signed up for and sometimes felt disconnected from what I was actually there to learn. I also found the rigid nine-to-five structure limiting; I would have preferred a system built around goals rather than fixed hours, since there were stretches of downtime that felt wasted.

That said, the positives outweighed the negatives. I learned so much about myself professionally,

I was in Paris with Absolute summer 2026. I found the program coordinators super attentive and helpful. I watched them jump in when other students were sick or upset or having logistical issues with traveling. The housing was fine, clean and safe but a little small with very little storage. There were several opportunities to go on weekend or day trips and explore the city with coordinators. The internships I heard about and that I had were fine, no one had a terrible experience. But you definitely will be working full time, it’s very rare to get a day off outside of weekends.

Completing an internship through Absolute Internship was an amazing experience! Not only did I get to go to a bakery and see the Eiffel Tower every day, but I got to experience Paris in a way that I would not have been able to do by myself. Being able to truly experience Paris by being a member of the working society, taking my daily commutes, and hanging out in "local" spots was unmatched. Absolute did a great job supporting me throughout the whole process, from the placement to the on-site experience.

As a student at San Diego State University, I had an incredible experience with Absolute Internship.
