My internship in Berlin was a highly enriching experience that allowed me to grow both professionally and personally. I gained hands-on experience in my field and learned how to work effectively in an international environment. Being trusted with real tasks helped me build confidence and better understand how my skills apply in a professional setting.

Living in Berlin added greatly to the experience. The city’s diverse culture, vibrant atmosphere, and strong sense of creativity made it an exciting place to live and work. Adjusting to a new country and meeting people from different backgrounds helped me become more independent and adaptable. Overall, this internship abroad was extremely valuable, and I am grateful for the opportunity.

One of the best experiences ever! Beyond were so helpful in finding an internship that fit my goals. They organised my accommodation and transport from the airport which put my mind at ease. All the events that were planned were often things I'd have never thought to do it would even know was there which meant I got to see even more of the city than I expected. And getting to experience that with other interns made living abroad so much easier. The internship itself was great fun and I got to learn a lot. I wish I could go back!

The support you get from the very start is amazing, they give you interview advice and coaching which is not only great to get your internship but also in future job searches. I really loved that you are able to choose that beyond academy sort your accommodation for you and they made a great choice. The activities organised for you are really fun and I felt I got a proper experience of Berlin. I developed a lot of personal skills as well as great work experience in advertising, it has really given me a genuine experience.

I found Beyond Academy to be pretty much exactly what I needed it to be. It connected me to a great fitting internship in a relevant industry and found a safe, enjoyable place for me to stay. I also appreciated the structure of events with the flexibility to attend as many or as few as you wanted. Especially early on it was helpful meeting the other people in my program which allowed me to find friends that I could hang out with outside of predetermined events. I do wish there were a few more events/that I went to more but I found I was often out of town doing my own travels.
