Internship in Singapore by Asia Internship Program

The Asia Internship Program afforded me an invaluable opportunity to immerse myself in a fascinating new professional and cultural environment in Singapore. The support of the AIP team throughout this time ensured that my experience was positive and stress-free. My internship helped me attain a host of useful new skills and insightful revelations about the corporate and start-up domains. Overall, the memories I have made here will stay with me throughout my life, reminding me of the value of taking a leap of faith and discovering the unknown.

I did my internship mostly in the US and this year, I decided to do it in Asia. I was hesitant to use an agency at first as I was confident to apply directly to companies. After several applications and got turned down, I decided to schedule an interview with Asia Internship Program as I've been seeing them mostly on Instragram.

Things were a bit overwhelming at first but trust me when I tell you that your AIP supervisor will guide and even join the interview with the company to support you. I thought their service ends right after they place me since I only paid for the basic package but they also provided me with some documents needed for my visa application. Overall, I am very satisfied and will be applying again for my last internship next year.

I enjoyed my internship provided by AIP in Singapore a ton. They helped me find a place that was unlike any other workplace I have been in before, where I was able to grow and learn significantly. The process of working with AIP was very smooth and did not cause me any stress. They helped me prepare for my interviews and were able to find matches for my interests. I ended up with multiple internship opportunities that AIP found for me and then was able to work out what would be best for me. They also helped me with all travel documents, making my travel simple.

Had a great placement at a friendly and informative law firm. We ate lunch together almost every day, and I had a wonderful boss and coworkers. My hotel was safe and centrally located, which made getting around very easy, as well as close to my internship. Staff were friendly and easy to reach. You are also picked up from the airport when you first arrive, which is very helpful. All in all a great program that I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about a particular field abroad, everything was very straightforward.

Super amazing program. My internship was a perfect fit, and the hotel I stayed at was as lovely and centrally located. Loved my boss and coworkers, and the working environment was overall very nice. We had lunch together almost every day. Had so much fun and the city was so interesting and easy to get around in. It was very easy to get in contact with the person supervising my internship/journey abroad. Singapore was also a really great location to choose because of the simple to operate public transport. Highly recommend!

What made my internship with AIP so great was how cooperative the team was in creating an experience that was both collaborative and independent. Not only did they organise events and activities dedicated to Singapore but they were also extremely easy to communicate with when any adjustments were needed. They worked hard to ensure things ran smoothly as well as safely for us. I thank AIP and hope that whoever gets the opportunity to embark on an internship with them, makes the most out of their experience :).
