The Hogmanay train on NYE was great for many reasons! I was travelling alone and it was possibly one of the easiest ways to make friends and socialise in. The staff were extremely inclusive and it was the perfect environment for me as a solo traveller and also for the many people I met going in groups.

It was well organised, we had breakfast and were given champagne and snacks to take on board (packet of chips and juice) not gourmet but still tasty! The train left on time and the party kicked off as soon as the train departed.

There was an MC over the speakers and staff moving from each carriage, we had freedom to move around, drink, played all kinds of games and as a surprise they gave out boxes of shapes to all the carriages (all aussies will know how good that actually is)

Arriving In Edinborough was easy and we had the freedom to do as we pleased. I’d recommend taking warm clothes and a small backpack as they don’t let big ones in.
After the festival there was an after party which was your usual club get up. Unfortunately the club owner kicked everyone out for being too rowdy and we had to wait 2 hours until the train station opened, but I guess we can’t blame stoke for that. I’d say a few other people weren’t happy with waiting however if you’re up for a huge party on NYE and are in the right company you’ll be fine!

After that we were on the train home and I slept the whole way. Overall I’d rate 9/10 as the party element was exceptional and so welcoming, Stoke provided the best way to enter 2018. I would highly recommend this for anyone travelling in groups or individually!

See you next year Stoke Tavel!

How can this program be improved?
The only negative is that the train wasn’t cleaned between arriving and leaving Edinborough. But that’s not really a huge issue. Overall a fantastic night!

This was an amazing program for people in their 20s looking for an affordable way to travel to events. When you are young, paying for travel can be difficult, and when you do get to travel, you have to choose carefully where you stay, and what you buy while there. Stoke Travel provided us with everything we needed while in a fun environment. I have recommended Stoke to everyone I know going to every festival or event.

How can this program be improved?
more coverage if and when it rains.

I had an amazing time with Stoke at King's Day. I didn't really know what to expect from the day, but they were able to sort me out with boat party tickets (a must do!) which was a highlight for sure. The camp is nice and green, food was good and we were only a 10-minute bus trip from the centre of town. The pub crawls, bbq and tours were great too. I'd book again for sure. Thanks to all of the guides who did everything they could to make sure we had an amazing weekend.

This year I went with Stoke Travel to Springfest in Munich. First of all the weather was just amazingly good with every day sunny weather. The food was so good and the party vibe was always there! I enjoyed myself every day while being accompanied with the Stokies and other lovely people. During the night it got a bit chilly so finding a snuggle buddy was quite neccessary but besides that it was an amazing experience! The unlimited booze is a must have when you are there since doing beer or sangria bongs with your mates is really fun. The staff was great and made sure that everyone had a great time while being there!

How can this program be improved?
Maybe a bigger variety in drinks would be nice since we only got beer and sangria.

I joined the Big Snow weekend in Andorra a few months ago, 'cause I had heard a few of my friend talking about their festivals, and it was a great first trip with Stoke!

Although at the first meetup things were a bit awkward with the other people going on the trip- I didn't know any of them- my favorite thing of all was how fast the group bonded and what a great atmosphere was created! On the way back just 2 days later we were all singing together in the bus, laughing over all the crazy stories and being the nightmare of the rest of the bus :P

The hotel was a lot better than I expected- unfortunately we were out partying too much to actually enjoy the sauna and hot tub, but the food buffets were ok- nothing special- and the location was great, right near the center of town so we could go out to the shops during the afternoon off and easily get home from the nights out!
The skiing was amazing and the staff during the trip really helped us out by arranging the transportation and equipment rental so we didn't have to stress about that or pay extra fees. A few things I didn't like were that on the mountain the food was quite expensive... I would have liked to have lunch included or a picnic or something like that offered as well, and that we had to wait over an hour one morning for another tour that was riding on the same bus, which made us lose a few good hours.

But my biggest regret was having too much of a good time in the mountain pub the staff suggested for après-ski, as I was too hungover to fully enjoy the last morning on the slopes, but I will never forget Cisco's <3 and all their crazy drinking games ;)
Overall an amazing weekend, am looking forward to my next trips like this!!

How can this program be improved?
Include lunches in the package (food on the slopes is quite expensive)
and organize transportation better (we had to wait over an hour one morning for another tour that was riding on the same bus)
