Hii my name is Lisa and I decided to take the Keats language program this year which was the best experience of my whole life. Referring to the classes my teacher Su laoshi was the best. Her teaching strategies and skills were awesome and helped me a lot by improving my language learning process. She was super super kind and so wholesome and helpful every lesson. I have never had a teacher before which taught me a language this good in this short term period. I'm so glad she got to be my teacher and I would love to have classes with her again!!! Thank you so much Su laoshi!!!
I don't have any bad criticisms about this school I can only say everything was literally perfect the people auntis, advisor, teachers everyone is sooo welcoming and friendly it just feels like a tamily when you stay there .
They help you with everything right away considering any type of question!

I think Keats School is an excellent Chinese language school in China. Everything here is great. The school has a lovely environment and fantastic teaching quality.
The teachers are wonderful and patient. My teacher is Ms. Jiang. She is diligent, kind and very patient. She has helped me a lot with my Chinese studies. I feel my Chinese has improved greatly since I started studying here. I am satisfied with everything. I also like Kunming very much.
The classes are lively and well-planned. Teacher always makes Chinese lessons interesting and easy to understand. She encourages me to speak more and never gets upset when I make mistakes. I really enjoy my time at Keats School. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn Chinese well.

I spent a week taking private lessons at Keats in Chengdu.
My teacher, Pi Laoshi, tailored the lessons entirely to my needs: at my request, we focused on conversation, which allowed me to build confidence for the trip I had planned afterwards while also gaining a lot of practical information from her. The lessons were always interesting and enjoyable.
Keats offers truly excellent, comprehensive service that makes settling in much easier—ranging from airport pickup and assistance with everyday tasks (like buying a SIM card or using payment apps) to guided tours of the area around the school.
I also really appreciated how easy it was to meet other students, whether over meals or during the evening activities on offer.
All in all, I can definitely recommend Keats.

Ich war für eine Woche für Einzelunterricht bei Keats in Chengdu.
Meine Lehrerin, Pi Laoshi, hat den Unterricht ganz auf meine Bedürfnisse ausgerichtet: Auf meinen Wunsch hin haben wir den Fokus auf Konversation gelegt, so konnte ich einerseits Selbstbewusstsein für meine im Anschluss geplante Reise sammeln und andererseits auch viele praktische Informationen von ihr erhalten. Der Unterricht war immer interessant und unterhaltsam.
Keats bietet wirklich guten und umfassenden Service, der besonders das Ankommen erleichtert, von der Abholung am Flughafen über die Unterstützung bei Alltagsdingen wie dem Kauf einer SIM-Karte oder der Nutzung von Bezahl-Apps bis hin zur Führung durch die Umgebung der Schule.
Schön fand ich auch, dass es so einfach war, andere Schüler und Schülerinnen kennenzulernen, sei es beim gemeinsamen Essen oder bei Aktivitäten, die am Abend angeboten wurde.
Insgesamt kann ich Keats definitiv weiterempfehlen

I really enjoyed my time at Keats in Kunming. I’ve studied at other language schools before, so I had some idea of what to expect, but Keats genuinely took me by surprise in the best way.

The teachers were incredibly helpful and made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. I learned a lot during my time here, but it never felt overly stressful or intimidating. I felt very much at ease in class, which made it easier to speak, make mistakes, and actually improve my Chinese.

I also really liked the community at Keats. I met lovely people, had a lot of good laughs, and the whole atmosphere felt friendly and welcoming. The food was good too, which was definitely a bonus

I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a Chinese language school in Kunming

I think Keats School is excellent in every way. The teaching quality is great, and the school environment is wonderful. There are fantastic teachers here. My teacher is Ms. Jiang. She is diligent, lovely and very patient. This is my fourth time studying Chinese here, and I feel my Chinese has improved a lot. I plan to come back to Keats School next year to continue learning Chinese. The food at the school is good, and the dormitories are nice. I am satisfied with everything.

I also like Kunming very much. I bought a lot of clothes in Kunming because clothes in Italy are more expensive than those in Kunming. I love China deeply and I am really interested in Chinese culture, especially Chinese history.

For the first time of my life I learn languages this way. Before I learn English from my childhood, than at school, than at University and can speak only after I find very old school teacher who manage to help me to speak fluently. But it takes almost a half of my life. When I decided to learn Italian, my second language, I have the aim to learn it quicker, and chose my teacher very carefully. After four years I manage to speak quite good Italian. And so now I am on the next step of learning Chinese. I come to this school just to learn a bit about this language, like maybe alphabet. Because I came only for one month. And …. After two weeks I started speaking!!! Because my teacher Lily have absolutely incredible teaching program. She gave me firstly all the main verb, like … go, buy, like, dislike, want, have and etc. And after the group of words connecting with hobby, food, clothes, color, professions and etc.. so I just combine them in my mind and wow!!! I manage to speak after one month. I know I have a big job ahead but!! now I can pay, buy something, ordering taxi and this all by myself!! And meanwhile my teacher tell me about Chinese culture, habits, food and every week we had open outside classes where you can go to all fantastic places and practice you Chinese!! And you will definitely find a good friend who stuck in your heart for ever!!

Studying at Keats

My teacher, Ms. Kong, is an exceptionally kind lady. In her teaching, she demonstrates a remarkable sense of pacing and is highly attuned to her students. She is able to quickly perceive my emotions or needs through the subtlest shifts in my facial expressions, and she would promptly check in with me, offering genuinely positive feedback and assistance without hesitation. I am deeply grateful to her. Thanks to her guidance, I have made considerable progress in my Chinese, and she has given me tremendous encouragement along the way. She truly made my learning experience a joyful one.

As for my overall experience at Keats, I found it to be excellent as well. Attending classes and daily living are both highly convenient, as the facilities are situated within close proximity to one another. The food provided is of good quality—healthy, delicious, and thoughtfully balanced in its composition. This matters a great deal to me, and I am very satisfied with my experience here.

Kunming is a truly remarkable major city. Having previously lived in a very small town, coming to Kunming has been a meaningful and fascinating experience for me. The city is remarkably clean and safe, with countless places to explore and numerous beautiful parks—all of which are free of charge, which genuinely astonished me. The people here are truly fortunate! The entire city is filled with greenery and brimming with vitality, and daily life is incredibly convenient. There are also many artistic performances to enjoy, and the city is steeped in an artistic atmosphere, making it endlessly interesting. Most importantly, the weather is absolutely wonderful. There was one minor incident: when I tried to order coffee in Kunming, I encountered a bit of difficulty, as people here are accustomed to ordering online. But the warmest thing was that a passerby stepped in to help me enthusiastically. So I feel that Kunming is not only a city with warm weather but also a city with many warm-hearted people.

In conclusion, Keats is truly an excellent school. My study experience in Kunming has been an absolutely perfect one, and I would be more than happy to recommend this school to others. I would also be delighted to return to Keats for further study in the future.

Sono entusiasta di aver partecipato a questo campo estivo di lingua cinese di otto giorni a Pechino! Le lezioni mattutine di cinese si sono svolte in un'atmosfera rilassata e piacevole; esercitandomi nella conversazione e studiando la grammatica, ho migliorato notevolmente la mia padronanza della lingua, arrivando persino a cimentarmi nella contrattazione con i venditori locali in cinese.

Tra le varie attività pratiche dedicate alla cultura tradizionale cinese, quelle che ho preferito sono state la pittura delle maschere dell'Opera di Pechino e il suono del *pipa* (un liuto tradizionale cinese). I colori vivaci e il processo creativo in sé sono stati un'esperienza tanto terapeutica quanto divertente. Oltre alle lezioni, ho partecipato alle visite di gruppo ai celebri luoghi storici di Pechino, immergendomi nel fascino unico di questa città millenaria.

Sebbene il programma fosse piuttosto intenso, ogni giornata è stata gratificante e ricca di gioia. Sono profondamente grato agli insegnanti per la loro compagnia, la guida paziente e l'attenzione costante dimostrate durante tutto il viaggio. Questa esperienza ha rafforzato il mio amore per la lingua e la cultura tradizionale cinese!

I had an amazing time learning Chinese in Shanghai. I couldn’t have asked for a more capable teacher. I’ve had quite a few Chinese language instructors and she far surpassed the quality and capability of them all. Her passion and love for the job shows. We explored so many wonderful sights and places together in the morning and then had class in the afternoon. After all these excursions together, along with her insightful knowledge and comments, I have a greater understanding and appreciation for the deep and rich history of China. And, more specifically, Shanghai. Each afternoon class was tailored specifically to my needs and requests for learning Chinese. I asked for help with everyday conversations while also working towards passing HSK3. I was both surprised and happy to find out that a unique and custom-tailored lesson plan was created for each class session. I’ve improved so much, such as listening comprehension, grammar, natural language conversations, and vocabulary. I will always cherish these wonderful experiences. Thank-you!

I’ve had so much fun in Chengdu so far. This had been the first time I’ve gone to China and it’s really special to me. Everyone is incredibly nice and the accommodations at Keats are a lot more than I thought they’d be. I love the weekly activities and how nice the staff is even when they can’t understand the English I’m saying. It puts me at ease that they are understanding. I also really like my teacher. At first I was confused because my curriculum is different from other students but after a week i understand the lessons she plans really help me and my way of learning. I like the sentence game we play with hanzi at the beginning of every class and I think it’s helping put me further in the learning process than I thought. There’s a lot I was scared about before learning but she has really put me at ease. She’s very nice and friendly and even gave me a gift on the first day which makes me feel so grateful. I I’m glad I got put with a teacher I feel like I can relate to because it makes me feel like learning is easier and less stressful. Usually I think I’d want to leave a class back in America because it gets tiring but I don’t feel tired or upset in my class. I also really appreciate Claire and how nice she is to all of the students here. She also makes me feel at home and I like when she takes us on activities, it made me less nervous to go outside and explore the city on my own. The first day I came here I went outside and wandered around and wasn’t sure if I’d make any friends or have any fun, but now I know being here is so much fun and I want to plan to come back next year as well. I don’t think I expected to like my school this much. Its not a university so it feels more at home and more family oriented. I feel like I belong. From what I’ve heard from other classmates they also agree and it makes me want to go to Keats in other cities too such as Kunming which I’ve heard a lot about and seems really great. My family was nervous for me going so far abroad but with Keats even picking me up from the airport when I first got here I have no worries I know I’m in good hands. I’ve met so many people and I love to go shopping and see the night life after class. It’s so different and makes me want to stay in Chengdu longer. I hope I get to come back soon and if I do I want to see Claire again and also if I could also have my same teacher. I wish I could see ever aspect of this city in my 4 weeks remaining here. I hope this place can be a new home for me one day.
