UBELONG is an organization committed to delivering the best experience possible for volunteers. Their program in Cambodia provides excellent food and accommodation. The local staff are quick to provide whatever support you might need during your stay. The volunteer house is large and there are always plenty of volunteers to befriend and explore the country with. I made a lot of great friends while I was there and that alone made this experience worth it.

Volunteering with UBELONG was a great experience. My mentor helped me a lot and also the communication went very fluently. This made me feel very comfortable.

I absolutely loved my work as a teacher in the orphanage in Phnom Penh. Although the children have so little, and the resources in the school are reduced to an absolute minimum, it was great working over there. You learn to be creative with the things you have and you realize that that works out fine. Also, these children were so grateful and they gave me so much love in return that I didn't want to leave. We had such an amazing time, singing songs, playing games and, at the same time, learning English. My last day we sang Christmas songs because they love Christmas. Everyone was so excited, it was amazing to watch them being so happy.

Be a part of UBELONG as a volunteer, brought me back the desire of working and couldn't be more thankful for having experienced what I lived in Laos. From the preparing booklet with the monitors and volunteers reviews until the hard work in the farm I'm grateful for the good work of the organization. This opportunity impacted not only my life but also the ones that I was working and living with. My dreams and objectives are now more alive.

It's an amazing opportunity with amazing volunteer options, very reasonable prices, and the UBELONG team is filled with amazing and helpful workers that help you every step of the way and make you feel very comfortable and excited for the experience ahead. I am so glad I decided to volunteer with UBELONG, it was was the most amazing experience of my life so far and I would love to do it again.

UBELONG and especially my mentor Bárbara have been a great support during the preparation phase and during the time I spent on site. I felt perfectly prepared and always in good hands knowing that I could aks all the questions I havae. I would definitely recommend UBELONG to other future volunteers as an experienced and serious organization which is offering valuable projects for the smallest reward.

Volunteering with UBELONG was an amazing experience that allowed me to grow as a person by working with others and learning from locals. The UBELONG staff was very supportive and greatly prepared me for my trip. They stayed in contact with me throughout and after my trip as well. While being by my side, they also gave me the freedom to ask questions and explore the beautiful culture that Peru has to offer. In all, I made wonderful memories and learned great things that will stay with me forever!

Volunteering with UBELONG was a great experience for me. From the very beginning, I was comfortable in my stay. My host family was wonderful, and the UBELONG partner association in Morocco was extremely helpful and attentive. Most importantly, I felt like I made a difference in my teaching project, and the students were so appreciative of the work being done. I really felt like I was making an impact, and everyone made me feel very welcome throughout my three and a half month stay. If given the opportunity, I would love to do another UBELONG volunteer trip soon.

UBELONG is run by individuals who really want to see a change in the world, and they empower young people to get involved. I think it's so cool they send kids as young as 18 around the globe to share their message and take responsibility for our neighbors' wellbeing.
This was such a great experience, and made me more independent.

My biggest concern in volunteering abroad was foreign logistics in the developing world. UBELONG takes care of that professionally and perfectly. For the (very reasonable) price I paid, I had my anxiety entirely assuaged. UBELONG walked me through every step of preparation with a personal mentor, organized transportation from the airport, arranged for me to live in their volunteer house in Phnom Penh, and set me up to volunteer at a local NGO. The living standards were above my expectations, and the vibe in the house was positive and fun. Being taken care of by professionals while you're somewhere so incredibly foreign is comforting, helpful, and now I believe, well worth the price. I would happily volunteer through UBELONG again.

I joined the Ubelong program in Mexico to teach English and found it to be a wonderful experience. I was only there for 2 weeks during a break from work, yet still feel like I made a difference. I don't think I changed the world, but I think my time there was well spent. Everybody at the organization was thoughtful, respectful and helpful, and although basic I thought the living conditions were more than adequate. Many of the volunteers were in their 20s, I was the only one in my 30s - this created some small barriers with different budgets, Saturday night plans, etc, but overall I managed fine and came out of the experience with important new relationships. Thanks Ubelong for a very special experience.
