This course was exactly what I hoped for. It was accessible, covered a comprehensive range of topics and was manageable and interesting. I took it to diversify my skills as an EAL specialist and hope to expand into TEFL in the future. The course provided a great overview and feedback on assignments was well-considered and prompt. I would recommend this course for anyone interested in learning more about language teaching whether online or in person. The jobs board was also full of interesting opportunities!

I personally really enjoyed my course. It was set up in a way that was easy to understand and I felt that the order of contents was very logical. I was so grateful that I chose to do my course through the TEFL Academy. I loved that it involved so many activities- they were done in a fun way and they gave you your correct answers. I loved all the pictures, it made it so personal. I felt I had a teacher teaching me the content most of the time which was really beneficial as I was a bit worried about doing my course online. It was a 10/10 experience.

I was very much impressed with the content in each topic and the test at the end of each topic to ensure that the concept is well understood. The various resources at the end of the topic too were very informative. The guidance on various aspects of English as a second language learning gave a clear picture of students needs required to be understood by a teacher. The model of assigments and the clear instructions helped to submit them with ease. The feedback given by the examiners too helped me a lot.

I absolutely loved every second of the TEFL training! The course was incredibly well-structured and easy to follow on the website. Each module was clear, engaging, and full of valuable, practical information that made learning both enjoyable and rewarding. I had a great time studying the materials. Everything is arranged in a way that is very smooth and understandable. I suggest this course to both new and experienced teachers who want to sharpen their skills. It helped me secure job positions and it is very affordable compared to other certificates. I would like to suggest more videos of teachers applying the methodologies in their classes, as seeing the magic happen through the simple techniques of the teachers can go a long way, especially for beginners. Reading the methods is one thing, but watching them take place is truly another.

As far as I knew about getting a qualification for teaching English as a foreign language, it was either CELTA or TEFL. I am assured that in terms of value for money and credibility of the course, I did the right thing choosing TEFL. Especially if the money is a big concern, that they have a sale on most of the year it seems. The course is exceptionally well tailored and user friendly. The information provided is expansive and there are multiple references per unit to further reading. There are often similar websites, or organisations that are referenced which make a great go-to bank in terms of where to look for resources. Overall, I'm really happy to have taken and now graduated the course and am looking forward to putting my learning into practice when I find the job that takes me abroad.

I chose this course because of its affordable price, excellent reviews, access to job boards, and the fact that it’s completely self-paced — and it truly didn’t disappoint. As an Argentinian and non-native English speaker, I was pleased to find that the course was very clear and easy to follow.

It was a fantastic course and would recommend it to anyone looking to become an ESL Teacher. The advance courses could have been more in depth to better prepare you for a your specific niche. For teachers who have never taught before, there should be an extensive advance course, where they are designated with a live one on one tutor that can prepare them for job interviews, teaching their first one or two classes, and presence/dialogue in front of a camera. This should be an advance course available after your level 5 certification. Enjoy the journey!

As a native english speaker and after learning a new language myself and realizing within my own workspace a need to communicate and lack of same language proficiency, i decided to search for a passion of linguist and educator also with job flexibility on location of work. I came across TEFL Academy and was impressed with the pricing/payment plan as well as the reviews. I invested and saw that this platform was truly full of quality. Each Saturday with a live youtube training on good to know information to apply to your new career. I was self paced and finished in 6 months. Now I am working on my own program to train, do independent business consulting and offer my teaching on tutoring platforms like preply. I definitely enjoyed the instructors in this course, very informational/resourceful. I completed a notebook of 70 pages for the Level 5.
