I started this course because I was curious. I was curious how life can give us the capacity to grow in so many directions. The more I learn, the more I realize that each new experience creates a mosaic of learning and self-discovery. I truly recommend this course, because it was fun, engaging and the tutors were really responsive and helpful even if everything was online. The course was well structured and easy to follow and the opportunities are plenty after finishing it. It’s funny because it was an adventure but the adventures just begins! I’m excited to see what comes next and I don’t regret taking this road!

I really enjoyed all the lessons, materials and exercises within The TEFL Academy Level 5 Online Course. I have learned a lot through their carefully planned assignments and I can't wait to put my knowledge into practice. I feel more competent after finishing this course and I can also say that I feel more complete not only as a teacher, but as a person. Thanks to this course, I deepened my knowledge of teaching in general, given the fact that I am also a music teacher. I have learned a lot about the process of comprehensive language acquisition including all of the core language skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking).

The TEFL online course and certificate have a well-organised step-by-step curriculum, offer real-life situations which help imagine different experiences as a teacher, and most of all have clear instructions on what is expected both to complete the course and as an ambassador of English language teaching.

There is a variety of media to be found in the course, such as quizzes, videos, and interactions with other students. There is great liberty in submitting different attempts for each end-of-chapter quiz, which lifts off the pressure to failure.

I enjoyed studying with The TEFL Academy. I was nervous at first, but once I started, I found it interesting and I enjoyed every second of it. I loved the end of the unit tests as they helped in tracking my understanding of the course. I always looked forward to them. The assignments were a bit challenging for me, but thank goodness for their Webinars on how to tackle them, I got to finish them without hassles. The presenters on the Webinars tell you exactly what the markers expect from you, and I you follow those guidelines, you're home free 😉 😀.

Taking the Level 5 TEFL course was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my professional development. I have been teaching Turkish as a second language for more than 10 years now, not officially certified but loving the teaching experience. So when I decided to teach English, a friend who is currently teaching in Tailand, recommended the Academy as a reliable program. I applied and started immediately and am so happy that I did it: It has been such an enagaging and instructive 6 months for me in learning how to teach English, and how to improve my teaching skills for Turkish and getting inspired to learn a new language myself :) Thank you Tefl Academy, for all the useful information and tools all along the program -I received my certificate yesterday and have an amazing resources file with me!

I really enjoyed the Level 5 (168-hour) online program with TEFL Academy. The modules were interesting and informative. The videos were also very helpful. I appreciated the list of resources at the end of each unit, as well as the templates for a CV and cover letter. The quizzes were fair, and you are allowed to retake them. The assignments were relevant and challenging. Even if I needed to resubmit them, I enjoyed the fact that I received personalized feedback on my lesson plans and materials. The only thing that I didn't rate a 5/5 was the fact that you have to submit "tickets" for all of your questions. They do a good job of replying within 24 hours, but not being able to have immediate access to at least technical support was a little frustrating.

The TEFL level 5 course in my opinion was challenging but yet so informative in a learning aspect. The content was well-structured, comprehensive, and highly practical. The content that I learnt I will definitely apply to when I get a job Teaching English as a Foreign language.What I really enjoyed was that I could complete the course and modules on my own time and pace. The assignments were challenging but yet it was fair and it really helped deepen my understanding of how to teach English effectively in a variety of settings.

I decided to do the TTA course in the hope of enhancing my abilities and knowledge to provide better online classes to my foreign students. The course did just that - made me a better teacher. I am more aware of what my students need and how I can improve their TEFL studies as their teacher.

The assignments are well thought out and provide insight into how to structure a class and get students to answer questions. The assignments can seem intimidating at first, but when you take the time to see what is needed, the objectives become clear. I love the end-of-module quizzes as they are a great opportunity to test yourself and see whether you understand the information provided.

I would recommend the course to all interested in becoming a TEFL teacher. Whether you are interested in giving classes online or travelling overseas to teach, this course provides everything you need to succeed.
