I recently completed my TEFL course, and I wanted to share my profound experience while learning and growing in my teaching abilities.
The course materials were incredibly engaging, allowing me to dive deeply into the nuances of English. I appreciated the structured approach to language acquisition, which built a solid foundation for my teaching. The resources provided were invaluable in enhancing my understanding.
I'm now empowered to teach English to a diverse range of students, from early learners to adults. I also feel equipped to venture into teaching business English, which is an exciting prospect.
Initially, I felt a bit daunted by the workload, balancing my work and study time. However, I dedicated myself to learning something new. The presentation style of the materials made navigating the course easy. If something wasn't clear at first, I could reread it, which significantly improved my understanding.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience, and I am now a qualified English Teacher, ready to take on the world!
Thank you for this transformative opportunity!
What was your funniest moment?
When I was in school, English was a subject I never took seriously. I vividly remember my mother insisting that I study the Wren & Martin Grammar book, and each time I would push back, questioning why I needed to learn English when it was my mother tongue.
After all these years, I finally decided to take up TEFL, and the experience transformed my perspective on English. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of studying the language, discovering its intricacies and beauty.
Even now, after completing the course, I find myself drawn to grammar games and quizzes to continue engaging with the language. This ongoing practice has enriched my understanding and appreciation of English, allowing me to see it in a new light.
I'm grateful for the journey that has led me to become an English teacher, and I look forward to sharing my passion for the language with my future students.
