I believe this TEFL course was great value for money! It was a very in-depth online course that covered everything a potential English teacher could need to know. Additionally, the assessments were specific to the responsibilities and duties of a teacher, which helped me feel prepared for my teaching career. I was definitely surprised at the quality, given that it’s an online diploma!
I chose The TEFL Academy because of its pricing – it was one of the cheaper options whilst still seeming reasonable enough for a Qualified certified course. I’m so grateful for the chance to pay off the course. I was also able to fit this study around my 9-5 job. Even so, this certificate certainly required a fair bit of effort over the weeks I completed it!

All in all, I would recommend this course due to its cost, the quality of its content and the flexibility regarding your workload.

It was a great opportunity to learn and improve as a teacher. The course is divided in a way easy to follow and filled with great practices and tips to utilize in class.
The videos and resources provided were amazing and showed real practices and activities in class, which can be very helpful in the future.
Having all those websites to help create materials for classes is really helpful.
The assignments were a bit too demanding and I couldn't know what remarks I had for my assignments when getting a Merit. Therefore, I couldn't get a better grade in my next assignment.

The TEFL course was unlike anything I've pursued before. I was given the material and could work through it at my own pace on my own time, which made it easy for me to manage whilst doing my undergraduate in psychology. Everyone is given six months to complete the course but if you dedicate yourself to it, it can easily be done in 2. I Highly recommend any person fresh out of high school or even people who have at least 1 hour of free time a day to do this course. The entire course is completed online and everything is self-taught.

The TEFL Institute's Diploma program exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The well-structured curriculum seamlessly combined theoretical knowledge with practical application. I really enjoyed doing my level 5 certification through The TEFL Academy, their content was well thought out and logical. The site was easy to use and there was support if required. The assessments were challenging without them being so difficult that you felt demoralized.

Templated provided for assignments were very helpful as well as the videos explaining the requirements for the assignment. The feedback on the assignments was quick. All in all they set you up to succeed if you are willing to put in the effort.

The course was really clear for me. I knew what was expected of me and what I needed to do. When I had any doubts, I sent an email to TEFL, and they responded super fast. Even though it was an online course, I felt the support of a teacher. The course materials were well-organized, contributing to a clear and systematic learning experience. The online platform was easy to use, and the tutorials helped a lot in making learning straightforward and simple. The feedback for both assessment was super helpfull as well.

I wasn’t really sure if teaching English was going to be for me. I had all the prerequisites (other than the TEFL certificate) and so decided to give it a shot.

I found myself gaining confidence from the material within the course due to the many different ways in which the information is presented. I was learning useful information that I could really see helping me in the classroom. The little tests at the end of each module prepare you for the exam at the end, and I gained so much insight from going through the process.
