Very satisfied!

My internship was in an advertising company in Hong Kong. My superiors were very kind and competent, and I felt confident with the members of my team. There was a good atmosphere during our calls and I learned a lot about the job.
Everything went very well with Meiji Internships. When I contacted them, they answered me the next day, and I was able to have a Skype interview very quickly. Then I explained to them what kind of internship I was looking for and they gave me some advice to improve my resume. Talking with them was very helpful, and it gave me confidence because I could see their faces and make real contact. They found an internship that exactly matched my criteria so I'm very happy!

Really meaningful internship

I did my internship with a Japanese company and it was just perfect. It was the first time in my life that I felt so confident and skilled. What's certain is that this internship brought me much more than I imagined. Basically I worked in a marketing company and I had to manage social networks and blog articles. It was exactly what I was looking for because it is a job that is perfect to be done remotely, and now I finally have the experience necessary to find a job that suits me.
Meiji Internships looked after me very well and they kept all their promises so I am very satisfied with their services. They found the perfect internship for me, they ensured good communication throughout the internship and they gave me great advice for the interview and to embellish my CV.

Meiji Internships is the agency that you need !

This online internship saved my academic year. I had already decided for several months that I was going to do my internship in a company in South Korea. Meiji Internships had already organized everything for me, but because of the global crisis, my university asked us to cancel our internship if it could not be done remotely. Fortunately, Meiji Internships managed the situation brilliantly, and my company agreed to take me on a remote internship ! Contrary to my fears, I managed to integrate into the team from the start because they were all very concerned about me. Everyone welcomed me and they were ready to answer any of my questions. In the end I learned a lot about trading, about the Asian market, and about different commercial tactics. This internship was very enriching and I have absolutely no regrets going to a distance internship.

One word: exciting!

South Korea is a splendid country with an amazing culture. I took advantage of my internship to travel and discover the country. I visited Seoul, Busan, and Jeju Island. All these places have their special charm and I got unforgettable memories. My internship was exciting. Sometimes I had great responsibilities in my work but I loved it. I learned to handle problems and to question myself about my work. I think my colleagues were proud of me because I listened to everything they told me to progress and learn faster. I became a real businesswoman haha! Doing an internship abroad is definitely the best way to grow and enter the world of work easily.

Japanese working experience

An internship is a fantastic opportunity to learn about a job while creating useful contacts. I really do not regret having done this online internship. I learned a lot more than at college since I worked on concrete projects and I was motivated to give the best of myself not to disappoint my superiors. On top of that, I have always been fascinated by Japan, and I am very grateful to have been able to get to know and work with Japanese people. I am even more fascinated than before about Japanese culture. I wanna try to work in Japan in a few years, and I think that the contacts I have made thanks to this internship will be very precious in the future.

Unexpected destination (graphic design internship)

At the beginning I was nervous because I knew nothing about Fukuoka, however as the time went by I slowly fell in love with the city. It took me a while to adjust to the lifestyle in Japan. I went there with a lot of expectations about how my stay there could be and I can say nothing I expected was really true, it was better. This internship open so many opportunities for me and Meiji helped to make it easier. I choose them to help me find an internship because it was difficult to find one by myself, especially since I don't speak Japanese. I was a little bit skeptical, but they found me the perfect match. I worked in a studio for 5 months, and built a lot of skills that help me set new goals for my future career. I enjoy my time in Fukuoka, the friends I made, the experiences I had, nobody can take it from me.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Embrace the culture. At the beginning it might be difficult to adapt, since it might be a very differnete culture than yours, but you have to keep your mind open to this new experience.
Also, pack light.

It perfectly met my expectations.

I am very satisfied with the services of Meiji Internships. They perfectly met my expectations and I can attest to the quality of their work. I wanted to do an internship in an Indonesian or Thai company, and they quickly offered me an interview with a company located in Thailand. I immediately got on well with my recruiter, so when he offered to work with them, I gladly accepted. I learnt a lot about business development and a little bit about IT as well. My colleagues were very serious and committed to their work, so it was very motivating to work alongside them. We had regular online meetings and they never forgot to ask me whether I had understood everything, and if I needed anything. I felt very well surrounded during this internship, both thanks to my colleagues and thanks to the Meiji Internships team who helped me prepare for the interview by giving me lots of advice.

Varied & instructive internship in journalism

I have always been passionate about journalism, and I am so happy to finally be able to write real articles that have appeared online, with my name at the top of the page! I wrote articles for a company that operates throughout Asia and I had the chance to show our readers what the situation is like in the Netherlands. Staying at home for this internship was not that bad after all, I was able to concentrate on my work and being at home helped me to boost my creativity. It was very nice to be able to take breaks from time to time, play a little guitar to free my brain for 15 minutes, and get back to work afterward with better productivity. I think I have found a good balance and setting myself a schedule each day was a very good idea not to procrastinate. I feel very fortunate to have learnt so much with my host company because I was surrounded by very competent people who took good care of me, calling me regularly and giving me lots of advice and feedback.

Very productive internship

China is truly an incredible country. I love the cultural difference that I found in Asia. The Chinese way of thinking would sometimes oppose my own in its entirety, but it also allowed me to open my mind and understand that certain opinions are only a reflection of our culture.
I did my internship in the field of marketing. It was convenient because I don't speak Chinese at all, but the work I did was entirely in English. The company in which I was doing my internship wanted to open up more internationally, so I took care of writing articles in English and promoting their activities on social networks. I learnt a lot about copywriting, and I feel that these skills will be useful in a lot of fields so I am really satisfied with my internship.

Trading industry in Myanmar

I was very happy to work with such beautiful people. I learned a lot during my internship, whether it was about the trading industry or even about myself or the culture of Myanmar. I would have liked the experience to last longer because I still have a lot to learn. Talking to the team every day and focusing on the work helped me pass the time faster while feeling like I was doing something useful and important for my future career. If you are hesitant to embark on a virtual internship, just think about the time you will save in the long term and all the things you will learn! In addition you will become a computer genius haha!
This adventure made me want to travel because I really enjoyed working with a foreign company and I was very happy to be accepted into their team as one of their own!
