120 Hour TESOL Review

It's perfect for what it is designed for, and for me it gives me proof of something that I have already been doing for almost 20 years. This course thoroughly explained everything that I had been doing as an English Teacher in Japan, but may not have known the formal names of the techniques I used and why they are useful. It's good to know the why and how, but learning on the job is important as well. Again, while I already knew a majority of the material learned here, it was important to have physical proof that I do understand it, which is why I am here. Thanks!

What would you improve about this program?
Nothing, really. Be sure to keep up with the times!
Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Can be tricked easily if you don't read carefully (not really a con!)

This course was worth it

The content of this course was well explained and complete. When I needed assistance, they helped right away. This course gave me the necessary skills to teach non-native speakers in my country. I could not say a con about this program because it covers the most basic part of the English language to managing the class and problem students. I found that the module on lesson plans was the most entertaining one because I could compare the different teaching styles and decide what plan was best for my class.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?

Helpful for me

It helped me a lot. The content was complete and easy to understand, so it wasn't hard to study alone. A quiz at the end of each module, helped me a lot when I took the final exam.

I want to recommend it to my friends, too, because it can be of great help to their children, too. The process is very detailed, so I think I can be a solid teacher in theory. I will do my best to be a good teacher. And I will be able to be a good teacher through this step of the certificate. Thank you for all.

The best experience

120h-TESOL/TEFL course

Having a visual and verbal learning style the course was, particularly, perfect!
Also, the way each module was detailed presented, approached and tested taught me about sequential and gradual learning. By the way, every single topic was well-selected and needed.
I've been teaching English for almost 6 years now and it brought me new ideas on how to enhance my abilities and teach much better lessons. I am honored to be given this certificate. Truly appreciated the experience.

Thank you very much.

A Great Intro and Refresher

I found this course engaging and fun to complete. I engaged with a lot of English grammar that I have not thought critically about since elementary school and found it entertaining to reimmerse myself. In addition, as someone interested in second language acquisition, I found the course to be really up-to-date on relevant practices and research. Overall, I think the course had well-prepared me for my upcoming role and I am excited to apply what I have learned. I will also consider taking other courses through this provider.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I do wish the course covered more about different activities you could include in the classroom.

A good one!

I am happy to have taken this course, mostly because the information is relevant and can actually help you navigate the teaching world, giving you a good base.

Considering its price, this is a really good alternative to those really expensive courses, which frankly do not have much more to offer.

As you can always improve, I would create more class demo content, since the ones given were really useful to watch and give more resources on where to find school material, or class plan examples to start implementing in your teaching career.

Amazing experience

As a teacher, I would like to say it was a very enriching experience. So many details I have learned from this course. I do appreciate World TESOL Academy for the affordable price. I hope I can inspire other ESL teachers to study this course and take its international certification.

I faced so many challenges while studying the lessons. The quizzes were hard at times. But with a little bit of a patience I could make it!

The content is incredible. It is comprehensive. Now I know much more about English language teaching than before taking this course. Thank you!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
The final examination. I needed to be patience and I just answered all the questions slowly. Then I double check each of them.

Perfect experience

I was so happy with this course. The content was easy to understand and still very valuable. Perfect to manage while working in a full-time job. I loved that I could manage my time independently. I now feel prepared to start teaching. This program was perfect for people who are not native speakers but want to understand the English language in more detail without getting lost in tons of grammar. I wish I could have learned English this way, would have been way more fun than in my German school for sure.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Accredited 120-hour TESOL/TEFL Course from World TESOL Academy

I recently completed the 120-hour TESOL/TEFL course with the World TESOL Academy, and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of the program. From start to finish, the course exceeded my expectations in every way.

The content was comprehensive and well-structured, covering everything from classroom management techniques to lesson planning and language acquisition theories. The modules were clearly presented, with real-world examples that helped bridge the gap between theory and practice. As someone who is new to teaching English as a foreign language, I appreciated how accessible the material was, yet still detailed enough to feel truly prepared.

One of the highlights was the flexibility of the course. Being able to study at my own pace allowed me to balance learning with my other commitments, which made the process both manageable and enjoyable. Additionally, the assessments were challenging yet fair, encouraging me to apply what I had learned in a practical and meaningful way.

The accreditation and certification provided by the World TESOL Academy give me great confidence in my qualifications as I begin my journey as an English teacher. It’s also reassuring to know that their certificate is internationally recognized, opening up opportunities to teach English abroad or online.

What excites me even further is that I plan to continue my professional development by taking their 60-hour TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) and 80-hour TEOL (Teaching English to Online Learners) courses next. 120-hour TESOL/TEFL Course

The courses are carefully designed and fully supportive for your future teaching career.
It also provided many useful links for teaching resources and methods. After 120 hours of study, you will get a lot of skills and experience in the practical teaching. It also provides a lot of concepts and theories about English teaching and learning. The tuition is also reasonable and rewarding. A good choice and option for TESOL certificates and courses. During the learning stage, I spent more time on the courses, and I found it rewarding and insightful for my teaching. In the past, I wanted to find some strategies to handle the teenager classes, I found some useful strategies from the course.
