When I started the course I felt totally overwhelmed at the amount of work and what seemed to be an impossible task. But I just put my head down and took it one step at a time. I must give a shout out to the online tutors as they are not only informative but truly empathetic and supportive. Remember to read the exam questions carefully and take your time. Also check through your answers afterwards. I thank goodness I did as I had somehow missed a question. I put it down to nerves. Even though I had four chances to do the exam. Please remember to use your online tutors as they really do care.

This certificate program is genuinely worth the investment. Each unit is clearly structured, straightforward, and easy to follow, making everything feel manageable.

At the end of every unit, you’re given a clear summary of what you’ve learned along with a unit test, which reinforces key concepts and helps you track your progress. This step-by-step approach makes preparing for the final exam far less stressful and much more achievable.

What really stands out is how relevant the material is. Every unit focuses on essential skills ESL teachers actually need, from grammar foundations to effective teaching strategies for both online and in-classroom settings.

I was really excited to start my journey with World TESOL Academy. At first I was suspicious about the program but after reading every single word of their accreditation and reviews etc., I was at ease and finally ready to start. I found the course really easy and insightful and even though I already knew all the content that I studied from when I was in school, I was more than happy to study it again as I myself added new terms of words to my vocabulary. I'm grateful for this achievement. Thanks you.

The TESOL course was important for me because it gave structure and confidence to my teaching practice. It helped me understand how students learn a language, how to plan effective lessons, and how to adapt my teaching to different levels and learning styles. Beyond improving my classroom techniques, the course strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, give meaningful feedback, and create a supportive learning environment. Overall, TESOL transformed my experience with English into a solid professional skill and prepared me to teach with purpose and confidence.

The course is comprehensive and informative, I learned a lot. The provided ideas for activities are helpful too. This course will be easy for learners who already have a solid background in English. The only area of improvement that I wish to see is the Online Teaching Module (i.e., providing more teaching techniques for advanced classes or adult learners; providing more online teaching techniques that differs from classroom teaching because of the huge difference in setup; online teaching probably needs more research.) Lessons from the course can also be translated to or used for other work skills. Overall the module is valuable for instructors especially for ESL teachers.

Honestly, for it to be a 120 hour course, the TESOL certification is incredibly worth it. Super digestible, you can see your progress, you can ask for help. There are some modules that are longer than others but everything they teach is necessary if you want to start teaching by your own and the tips are amazing! It is great how they actually provide tips on how to find online jobs and let you know some secrets to getting the demo lessons and the interviews right. Would definitely recommend for people who are travelling and would like to do some online English teaching.

The program was well-structured, with lessons divided into distinct modules, making it easier to follow. There were several examples related to the lessons, including videos of practical application of the lessons in actual classroom settings, which were very helpful and complemented the lessons. The content is high-quality and provides great value for money. Another thing I liked about the course is that it can be completed at your own pace. I really enjoyed the course, and I learnt so many new things which I wasn't expecting!

I found this course helpful, structured, and it provided me some great building blocks to carry into my early teaching career. I found the price of the course to be quite reasonable and accessible to me as well, which was one of the main reasons why I chose it. I am excited that I now have my TEFL and am looking forward to seeing what journeys this will bring me to in the future. I appreciate the modules being self-paced and easily accessible. I got to review each module however slowly I wanted to thoroughly understand the course material and I got supplement it further with research on my own account. I enjoyed the independent set-up and it challenged me to be proactive in learning new concepts from multiple sources. Despite the asynchronous learning set-up, the lack of social interaction was made up for through embedded videos that helped in demonstrating useful teaching techniques done by gradates from the course now in their respective jobs.
