This program has prepared me well for going to teach English in Vietnam. I now feel confident on how to plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons. The program tested my knowledge throughout in a way which ensured I was understanding and applying all of the material. I would recommend this for anybody planning on teaching English as a foreign language, as I felt well-supported throughout. There were videos all the way through to break up the text, motivating me to continue through the modules and finish the course.

This TEFL Nomad course was just amazing at explaining everything you need to know when starting your teaching English journey! This course has equipped me with essential knowledge and allowed me to feel confident in my abilities to teach English as a Foreign Language. Very detailed and clear on grammar aspects which was a concern for me :) Not only did the course teach me on grammar but showed me how to manage my classroom and gave me multiple examples of activities and games I will be able to include in my lessons. Very happy to have been on this course before my journey on teaching English.

I really enjoyed this course, it was well structured, easy to follow and the podcasts with James were a great addition to hear real life experiences and tips for teaching. I liked the conversational style of writing and there were some really great insights into how to get the most out of teaching and effectively running a classroom that I'm not sure you'd find elsewhere! I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to become an EFL teacher, I'm looking forward to taking the skills I've learned with me in my teaching experience.

I was worried when I started this program because I felt like I was going in blind! But the Nomad program is so easy to use and it is friendly to users like myself. They did a great job explaining different teaching concepts and resources for teachers. What I liked the most about it was that Nomad focuses on how to be a better teacher from the start and what you can do to really be the best! The interface was also easy to navigate which was helpful. You could see your progress and how much more you had left to do. The new BETA version is so clean! Overall, I enjoyed this program and I feel much better about teaching in the Fall!

This is a really well-structured and engaging programme. The podcasts are invaluable in the insights they provide pertaining to life as an EFL teacher. The topics are perfectly structured and jam packed with loads of helpful tips and info. Although some areas of the course are difficult, such as the grammar specific language modules, they are explained well and in an easy to understand way. The parts of the course that considered classroom management were also extremely useful and I will no doubt embed these in to my teaching practice. This course really is worth it. I'm made up I have done it.

The course covers everything you need to know from lesson planning, managing a classroom, to what the fundamentals of grammar are.

I really enjoyed the interactive elements dotted throughout the course as it helped to consolidate my learning and give practical guidance on what to do and what not to do.

I also liked that the course was separated into 11 manageable modules that I could work through at my own pace. Therefore, it was very easy to fit it around my other commitments and was not too overwhelming.

Overall, I really enjoyed the course and definitely think it is great value for money!

I found the course to be extremely comprehensive in both its content and assessment. The interface was easily accessible, and I felt that I derived a lot of knowledge about the necessary topics it covered. The intermittent videos were a welcome break from the reading and helped break down the topics greatly.

I would recommend this to anyone pursuing a future in teaching at large. I would also recommend it to anyone traveling to teach in a different culture from their own. I found that a lot of emphasis was placed on cultural appreciation. I found the emphasis and explanations eased my concerns about assimilating to the school systems abroad I hope to teach in.

Really enjoyed this course. It was structured really clearly and the subheadings made it easy to break down and learn it at a good pace. The podcasts from James also helped to break it down and helped to vary the style of learning. This made it engaging and also added real-life scenarios and tips for teaching abroad which was really helpful and made me feel really equipped for the classroom. The printables throughout the course also really helped. The sections on lesson planning, etc, that focused on real life teaching and classroom scenarios have made me feel ready to start teaching and these are all tips I will take with me! All in all, great course :)

I found this course to be extremely helpful. I learned a lot of things that I have never even thought of as this is my first time doing a teaching course. I love the fact that there are useful links that I could also use to help me progress and learn after completing the course. I loved the lesson planning guide and tips given. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in teaching with no teaching experience in the past. The course is written in a way where it is easy to follow.

I found the course brilliant from start till finish. I found the podcasts from James to be a great help in getting an insight into what a career in teaching abroad might be like and how to do the best I can in the classroom. The podcasts really helped to structure the course so it was engaging the whole time. The structure of the topics of the course also helped to keep me engaged. There were a lot of sections that included practical tips, such as lesson planning that made me feel confident going into the classroom.
