I learned so much in this course! From English grammar rules, to lesson plans, to learning how to control a classroom, this course has it all! I especially loved the lesson plan ideas, I think they will be very helpful in the future.
It was also very helpful that the course explained the different ways that different age or ability groups could be taught.
The short listening lessons with James were great! He gave very helpful, real-world examples. It was nice to hear from someone who has taught abroad before!

This course is insightful, engaging and very well-structured, I feel a lot more confident going into a TEFL role after completing it. The podcasts were a great inclusion and gave some real "front-line" advice about being a teacher and they have been handy to go back and re-watch. It also offers up extra reading to further expand your knowledge and confidence. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to start their journey with teaching English as a foreign language, I will be taking a lot of this with me on my travels.

This program is straight forward and makes the TEFL certification process easy. Each Module is divided into different units and units are usually color coded and include tables of complex topics, which makes the content easy to transfer over into your own notes. There are short podcast episodes from a TEFL teacher to change the learning up a bit. As an American English speaker I think the exposure to British English was good preparation for world travel to areas influenced by Britain and British English is likely to be prevalent.

A detailed, well structured course.

Each module is broken down well which makes it easy to look back on/access previous sections - or have a break and pick up where you left off. Also, very handy to see how much material you have left to learn so you can plan ahead time-wise for bigger modules.

Plenty of information, tips and ideas for lesson planning & classroom management. Some pages have a lot of information/text but most are broken down into quick, manageable sections. Can work through the course quite quickly if you put your mind to it.

Will definitely be referring back to it when I start teaching!

I found the TEFL program to be very educational as well as flexible. I recommend this program to anyone that is trying to start their teaching career while simultaneously attending to other work or personal life obligations. This course was very efficient in terms of the clarity of it content as well as its ability to keep ones attention as the course continuously displayed light-hearted humor and amusing animations. Specifically I found the courses detailed instruction on class management to be very insightful and interesting as I think classroom management is one of the most difficult things to get right as new teacher. I plan on using this course as a reference as I begin my teaching journey.

Was a really engaging course with interesting and insightful material. The modules were well organised and structured in a way which made it very manageable. The use of videos, pictures, tips, and recommendations of extra readings (articles, books etc.) kept the content really engaging. I found the information on lesson planning particularly useful, with examples of lesson plans and guides/tips on how to make your lesson plans really high quality. I will definitely be taking a lot from this into my own upcoming TEFL experience. Thank you!

Amazing content that covers all bases necessary for an effective EFL teacher. The intermittent podcasts are a nice break from the text presented, there are plenty of examples and relevant materials (as well as links to further items that are helpful) and the course is well constructed in a fashion to not massively overwhelm those taking part. It is definitely a commitment with how long some pages are, but the information contained is worth going over and is all incredibly helpful!

The program is an excellent course as it provides all the information in theory to help you along you TEFL journey including attaining the best course provider. To navigate through the course was extremely easy seen as the TEFL Nomad website enabled that to happen, the knowledge provided was very clear for advancement throughout the different tests and modules. So too sum it all up the course 10/10 and almost a walk through the park. However there was minor setbacks, but nothing to big I could not overcome.

I started this course with no teaching experience. Just a passionate to travel abroad and teach in another country. I feel as if those course prepared me as well as offered a boost of confidence by breaking it down and having templates and tools available. The examples were easy to understand, and the podcast helped understand real world experiences.
As English is my native language, I only had a few modules that I felt were on the difficult side, but the modules let you go back and reread as many times are you need to.
I think that the things that I learned in this course will translate well into teaching overseas no matter what country you choose.

This was a brilliant TEFL course; it had everything you could ever need to know. Because there was so much information it was very helpful to have each topic broken down into a number of sections as this made it easy to follow. It was also visually appealing and it was very useful to see how far through the course you had got. I also loved the interactive aspect of it, in terms of tracing other people's progress and I loved being able to accumulate points, this made it very motivational. I also thought the videos from James were very useful and really elevated the course! Thanks so much.
