Great course

As someone with minimal teaching experience, I definitely picked up some amazing skills from this course! The course is structured very clearly and cohesively, and I think it offers advice and valuable support for all aspects of teaching. James' podcasts were great, too! Great platform!

Great course, learned a lot. The information is very helpful and will come into use in the future when I travel!
I loved the platform though. The points system is a nice way to motivate you to keep working and you can even keep track of your friends in a leaderboard! How fun! Glad I did this course.

TEFL Nomad Course Review

This course was very helpful. I appreciated how much content was included. The website was very user friendly and easy to use. I also appreciated the amount of content that was included related to being an educator. As someone who got my degree in education, that content was very accurate and helpful to review. I also really enjoyed the podcast videos. Those videos gave more perspective from someone who has taught abroad. This made the course relatable and I felt more understood. I also liked how each module was about a different topic. The modules also built off each other which was nice.

Pros
  • Easy to use
  • Great content
  • Podcasts helped
Cons
  • One page included a lot of information at times

Easy, informative

Good course. Super easy. It can be completed quickly if you're motivated. It gives a lot of examples in each section to help you understand the material. It has a section specifically for online teaching, which is helpful. The course covers differences in teaching from young learners to adults. It gives you a layout for lesson plans that will be useful for any classroom. I've spent 5 years teaching online and 3 years teaching abroad, and found most of the course material relevant to my experience.

Excellent course

This is a really well-structured and engaging course. The podcasts are great and offer an insight into real-life experiences as a EFL teacher. The topics are well organised and instructive with lots of helpful tips and information. Although some parts (particularly the grammar sections) are difficult, they are explained well and effectively. Sections that focus on classroom management are also extremely useful and I will no doubt carry these tips forward into my teaching experience. I have really enjoyed doing this course!
