I did the General English and Business English courses as a blended program with a mix of on-line (I was working full time in a university) and residential (undertaken in a mid semester break). I have visited over 40 countries as an academic - and Thailand is one of my favorites. The opportunity to study on-line and do the residential component in Phuket was too good to miss. ITTT in Phuket had superb staff and great facilities - with the student accommodation providing real value for money. I have since retired as a Professor from Griffith University and have taught TEFL classes in Laos and Hong Kong. I now work as an English coach (on-line) with IgniteTalk, who are based in Bangkok.

This course was a great startup to building my career as a TESOL teacher! I’ve managed to work in a China for 2 years now with the help and guidance from my 120hrs course by ITTT. The lecture notes were useful and they helped a lot in getting a good understanding of crafting lesson plans. I didn’t opt for the tutor option, although I should have because it would have benefit me more I believe. Highly recommended for all!

I am a teacher from Nigeria. My oversees teaching experience began after I had a 120 hour TEFL course with ITTT TEFL.
In the past, I had always believed my teaching career was limited to my country, because Nigeria is not categorized as a Native English country, though I studied English Education. But after I read some articles from ITTT on the possibility of teaching English abroad as a non-native, I registered for the 120 hours online course. Sincerely speaking, it was indeed a wonderful experience for me. I got introduced to different modern methodologies of teaching people of different ages and backgrounds.

Oh, I can't forget how challenging it was to get through with my lesson plan. It was rejected twice, but with the step-by-step guidance and assistance from the reviewer, I was able to get it right the third time. Few hours later, I got the soft copy of my TEFL certificate, and in less than two weeks, the hard copy was delivered to me.

Getting a job was made easier through the regular job posts on ITTT TEFL Facebook page. From there I got my first offer from Mexico, and the second offer from Turkey. It is important to note that I was able to perform excellently well during my job interviews because of the correct application of what I learnt from the 120 hours course.

And within the last three years that I completed this program, I have recommended the program to a large number of Teachers, who also have unique testimonies about how the program has changed their ESL teaching career.

I have really enjoyed the ITTT online course. I feel like it has vastly helped me feel prepared for any future TEFL teaching that I may do, and it is very user friendly. I would recommend this program to anyone! The units take a little time and so do the videos, but it is honestly worth it. You are able to gain so much information from them. The tests are pretty straightforward as well and don’t try to trick you. Thank you for making this course so helpful!

The course was very informative and well planned. It had all the information broken down into nice blocks and was easy to follow. I enjoyed the tests which gave you a chance to challenge your learning.
Support was neither great nor bad. They sometimes answered my questions in a way that was helpful and other times were a bit dry. I would definitely tell people about the course. It helped me better understand and help my students.

I had worked as an ESL instructor for many years, before I took my ITTT course. My instructor was very patient with me, but I did not agree with his suggestions.

Teaching by using the communicative system was completely new to me, and I fought a lot against it. I only believed in using lots of grammar in my lessons. My instructor was critical of my system, and he made me feel terrible. I only believed in my own way.

Time has proven me wrong. Eventually, I learned to understand the communicative system which has allowed me to develop my teaching skills not only in Spain, but also in Madagascar. Communicative system works better for those without grammar background in their mother tongue.
The program opened new opportunities in my profession, and I made some life time friends while living in beautiful Prague.

I decided to do the Tefl course although a native English speaker and have taught English for a number of years in several countries because I wanted to develop my craft. I was also in between jobs at the time and having been out of the classroom for a while it served as a wonderful way to keep plugged in to the trends of teaching and keep my skills sharp for when I would ultimately return to the classroom.

This being my first experience with any online education platform I was truly impressed. The options were many to suit whatever need the student may have, instructions were clear and the material was easily accessible.

Since completing the course I have found that my resume gets a lot more attention from potential employers. And since returning to the classroom the skills I learned from ITTT have been useful every step of the way

I signed up for a TEFL training course in the winter of 2017. I was teaching full time and struggling to stay on top on my workload. The course was easy to manage, with clear expectations. I found much of the materials relevant to my classroom and students. Teaching and learning became fun and engaging again with this course! Once or twice, I reached out to the support staff, and my questions were answered within the same day! I would recommend ITTT Online to anyone interested in learning how to teach and reach more students or anyone who wants to get an excellent TEFL training.

I did the 120 Hour Online Course as well as the 50 Hour Course specialising in young kids. It was very informative and simplified syntax and grammar in a way that is easy to understand and convey as a teacher. The tutor was fantastic and feedback was fast and effective. Not only did the course improve my teaching skills and grammar knowledge, but equipped me with material for the classroom as well, which I used during my entire two years in the classroom! I would recommend this to everyone as the most affordable and efficient programme I could find.

I thoroughly enjoyed doing the ITTT 120hr online TEFL course. I found the content of each lesson to be informative and very comprehensible. I was already teaching English online when I began the course and I was able to pair my practical experience with the theory provided by ITTT. It certainly improved my teacher ratings! I also really appreciated the review of grammar that the course provided. Having studied such material in a first language school environment before, it was very enlightening to see it presented as a second language learner would experience it. I have since applied many of the tips and methods from this course in my teaching and I truly believe that I, as well as my students, have benefited from this. Thank you!
