Safe in the land of smiles!

AIP has done so much for me that I don't even know where to begin. I've always wanted to travel to Thailand seeing that I've never had exposure to their culture before and just hearing travel stories from my friends made me even more interested in the country. Ever since I was born, I always considered myself as an efficient person. I like to complete my tasks and goals as fast as I could. So I thought, why not travel to Thailand for both a vacation and an internship, hitting two birds with one stone. I applied to AIP and started my internship journey with them. The respectable thing about AIP is that they didn't only help me find an internship that could boost my professional experience, but they also advised me on places to go and visit so that I can experience the culture all around. Because of this, I've had the opportunity to visit many places and capture memories that will surely never be forgotten. It's insane that its been a while since this particular experience but I remember it like it was yesterday. Really grateful for everything and I'm looking to apply to AIP again when I choose to go to Indonesia next!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Much like myself, hit two birds with one stone! Try to be efficient in life and you'll be sure to experience a lot.

My crazy experience in South Korea

South Korea was a crazy experience all together. From doing a 2 week quarantine period to completing my internship during a pandemic. It seemed at first that things were falling apart but it honestly started to pick up piece by piece. The quarantine period was actually not so bad as the people there were very helpful and friendly. Going on to my internship, I felt very welcomed. My supervisor and colleagues made sure I was felt at home and guided me through all the tasks they gave me. I'm happy I took this internship with AIP as well as they were very straightforward and non-confusing. Everything felt like a straight road and that's what I'm most grateful for.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
Having a positive mindset goes a long way into having an amazing experience abroad.

Taking a chance on remote!

I was given the opportunity from AIP to partake in a remote internship when it felt like everything was falling apart. As I'm in my last semester of my university, I was desperately in need for an internship and with the on-going pandemic, I didn't I would be able to find one so soon. Thankfully enough, I came across AIP and they assisted me all throughout to find me not only an internship that would give me a great experience, but also new friends that I've met through my 3 month internship. The experience was obviously different to my past internships but it was something new that I feel like can take over in the near future. I'm grateful for the experience!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
Doing my final presentation before concluding my internship was pretty nerve-racking.

Definitely a great time!

Despite the ongoing global pandemic, I was lucky enough to find an internship with the help of AIP. AIP was very helpful in finding me an amazing business development internship. It felt surreal at first because a lot of friends were struggling in finding an internship but stumbling upon AIP was great. I even had the chance to share the experience with a couple of my friends and they're looking to join AIP as well.

I learnt a lot not just about my field or industry, but also about how to collaborate and form meaningful relationships with my colleagues. Thank you AIP!

Great experience with remote!

I've already experienced internships prior to this one and was looking to bolster my CV with some more valuable experience. However, amidst this pandemic it was hard to find on site internships. This is where AIP came to the rescue. It was definitely a different experience. I have only previously been exposed to on site internships. Obviously online internships aren't the same experience and you aren't able to be exposed as much as you would had it been on site, however, AIP was able to make the most of this and still gave me an unforgettable experience. Overall, it was an awesome experience and would highly recommended to others!

2019 in South Korea

I had my internship experience with AIP back in Summer of 2019 and I still remember everything to this day. Seeing the situation, I'm very glad I had my experience before COVID existed. I was able to do things that I wanted to like travel or even walk the streets without being judged for not wearing a mask. I must imagine that it's difficult for interns at this time to intern in Korea. Nonetheless, AIP did an amazing job with how they handled my case from top to bottom. They checked every list to make me feel safe and happy. Will be entirely grateful for the work of AIP.

What would you improve about this program?
At the time my application kept going to different people and it was really confusing at first, but everything was handled properly and I'm very appreciative of it.

Happiest time of my life!

It has been nearly 3 months since my internship experience in Korea and I still think about the wonderful time I had there everyday. I have never been outside the US and coming into Asia for the first time was hard to deal with. The language may be the biggest obstacle that I had to run through because it seemed like no one spoke any English at all. It was obviously different from my host company where everyone can speak English but it was still hard going to restaurants or even traveling around. Nonetheless, I still had an amazing time in the country and I will surely be coming back with other friends of mine to introduce them to a beautiful culture!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
I'd say to come with a friend at least so that you won't feel lonely. The first couple of weeks were tough and I wish that I had someone beside me the whole time.

The best option right now!

I finished my degree 2 months ago and have been wanting to do an internship. I am so glad that I found AIP, especially in these hard times because I was able to do remote internship and it was such a good experience!

AIP absolutely did an amazing job! They found a company suited with my interest, they were always responsive whenever I had questions, and I will definitely use AIP's service again when the situation is better so I can do another internship in a country next! Everyone else should do the same!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
I had a lot of things in my plate like school work so time management was something I had to learn.

Perfect time for remote internships

Now is honestly the time for students like me to look into remote internships and the value that it gives! As an introvert, this experience was really great for me because I had the freedom to complete my tasks in my free will and I didn't have to go into the office physically. I obviously had the chance to meet new people online, but that was pretty much the boundaries. AIP was really great in finding my a fantastic company as well. I'm pretty I got to learn a lot that I could bring with me in the future. As this is a marketing internship, I have decided to do freelancing for my host company even after my internship is done and I'm really grateful for it. Look for remote internships now!

What would you improve about this program?
I wish I had the choice to choose a country of preference despite this being a remote internship, but nonetheless I had a great experience overall!

Great for its value!

I originally intended to do a signature package and then I realized we're in COVID. So unfortunately the country that I was supposed to go to, Japan, was closed so I had no choice but do a remote internship to complete my credits. I was initially hesitant to use AIP because I've had a bad experience before and so I was really hesitant even though AIP had really good reviews and branding. Anyways, I made my application because there was no obligation to anything so I thought, why not. I scheduled my interview with Emmanuel Mission, and my trust immediately increased after speaking to him as he was very relatable. The experience seemed so skeptical in the beginning but I've grown into doing remote work and I am pleased with it. I actually had the chance to speak to a couple of my colleagues and I can confidentially say that I made a few friends. I'm glad I took the opportunity with AIP.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
Going through a remote internship instead of traveling to my preferred destination was pretty nerve wrecking.
