Amazing

Adam donovon honestly was the best trip leader. Your missing out if you don't get Adam. He was super helpful. Always up for a good laugh. The trip itself was amazing your busy but not to busy. Would highly recommend the vietam experience. You don't want to miss out on sapa. Trekking honestly was so much fun. Remember to bring a backpack your going to need it. Even if it rains in your trip just soilder on. The activities even in the rain are super fun! Make sure after you catch the fish that you have a mud fight. It so much fun and it just brings a whole heap of laughs

Pros
  • Sapa
  • Trekking
Cons
  • It has to end

So much adventure

Amazing group of people we explored so many places, did some great excursions and activities (crafts too), very pleased with how much of Vietnam we got to do in 12 days.

Only thing “down time” to explore the city never very long in any of the locations. But i do understand when we are doing so many cities in so many days.

Meg was great, super helpful always there to help in any way needed. Lovely group leader

Really great way to meet people and great if you’re a solo traveller but not really done it before, as at least you can just enjoy and not have to think too much about accommodation/travel days etc!

Pros
  • Loads of activities
  • Well planned
  • Great good
Cons
  • First hotel not the best, could be upgraded
  • Not a lot of downtime, wish there was a little more
  • A lot of the pre-booked restaurants felt empty, could maybe mix up and choose other places

Vietnam 12 day tour- intro travel

I really enjoyed the intro travel Vietnam 12 day tour. Adam our leader was fab and was always making sure to check on us and see how we were doing. The tour was well organised on the ground and I felt that I got to do a good amount of fun activities and meet lots of other lovely people on my tour. I would recommend it to anyone who is wanting to explore the world but is unsure about going completely alone. There was a good mixture of ages on the tour too which was really nice as well. I really enjoyed the trip to the Mekong delta with the homestay.

Vietnam Intro 12 Days

My experience was great, especially having Adam as my group leader. He gave some really great recommendations for places to eat, things to do and provided great knowledge of Vietnam. For future travellers I would definitely say take every opportunity to get to know the local areas and foods that each location in Vietnam has to offer as it is a unique place. One stand out is in Hoi An getting to visit Mr Xe the tailor, definitely a memorable experience getting a custom made suit. The food in Vietnam should definitely be on every foodies bucket list as it is authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Pros
  • Food
  • Culture
  • Homestays

Bali Intro 12 Day

Finished the Bali intro 12 day a few days ago and what an unforgettable experience! This was all thanks to Vitor our amazing tour leader! Everything ran so smoothly and nothing was too much for him. He really went out of his way to ensure we all had the best tour possible. This was my 3 tour with Intro and would highly recommend them to anyone. I have booked a 4th tour with this company to the Philippines and wouldn’t hesitate to book more. Main highlights of activities were scuba diving, learning to surf and hiking mount batur.

Pros
  • Scuba diving

Bali Intro 9 days

Vitor was absolutely amazing! He made everyone feel at home from the get-go and made an effort to form bonds with all 15 of us. He was fun, energetic and inclusive of everyone. You could tell he absolutely loves what he does, and the reflected in the fun we had doing all the different activities. Doing the tour was the best time of my life, and I have Vitor to thank for that. He’s an absolute legend! I highly encourage anyone who is thinking of travelling to do it through Intro, and if you happen to have Vitor as your tour leader, you are one of the luckiest people on her planet!

Pros
  • The activities were amazing
  • Forming long term bonds with fellow travellers
  • Very well looked after by your leader
Cons
  • The trip has to end at some point
  • You will experience post travel blues
  • Tough goodbyes ;(

Bali Intro - 12 Days

I had the most incredible time on the Bali Intro 12 day trip. It was the first trip of this kind which I had done, and I was so impressed by how well organised it was.

Our tour guide Vitor was absolutely amazing and looked after the group so well, always making sure that we were safe and happy. He had an incredible knowledge of Bali and made all activities fun and exciting. He was always able to recommend things for us to do in our free time and advise the best restaurants to go to. We became such a close group over the 12 days and we definitely made friends for life.

I would highly recommend this trip to anybody.

Pros
  • Accommodation
  • Safety
  • Tour Guide

Intro Japan adventure

Did the Japan adventure tour and loved everything about it. The itinerary was great with so much to do and see. Got to do and see so many more things then if I were to plan a trip to Japan on my own.
Our group leader Yoni was awesome and made the whole trip stress free. He had plenty of knowledge of all the places we visited, was charismatic, and generally an extremely pleasant person to be around. We were in the typoon that hit Japan so a day of our adventure got affected but Yoni stepped up and made sure we were safe and planned extra things for us to make up for it.

Pros
  • Sight seeing
  • Cooking classes
  • Food
Cons
  • No time in the water

Intro Japan Visit was the best!

First, itinerary was great. In just 13 days, we got a taste of several key cities and a few nights in beautiful mountain towns. Tokyo was electrical, Nagano totally chill, and Kyoto just right. I don’t know enough about Japan do suggest other places, although it might have been fun to extend the trip by a couple days to pick up a beach.

Second, we had a terrific leader. Yoni took care of us on our tours, and gave great tips for our open days, when we went off on our own.

Best of all, I loved our group. 12 interesting people from pretty different backgrounds not only got along from the start, but we became pretty good friends

Pros
  • Yoni as leader
  • Great vegan restaurants when we found them
  • Snow monkeys in Nagano
Cons
  • Sweltering August heat and humidity during day, but ok nights
  • One-day typhoon lockdown
  • You have to look harder for veggie food

15 Day Experience

My first time to south east Asia and I couldn’t have had a better time! Thoroughly enjoyed every day on the experience tour. A good mix of activities like hiking, more wholesome ones like tea parties and lantern making and fun nights out. Our group bonded super quick and whilst we are all girls from uk/Ireland we all had very different personalities and interests and the mix of activities was great as there was something for everyone! So glad I did a tour as I wouldn’t have done as many activities in those 2 weeks without! The itenerary is super busy at times with quite a bit of travelling (6 hour bus to sapa and back) but it’s worth it and our leader Adam Donovan made a point of giving time to us to rest or have time to ourselves or just do our own thing.
The only activity I didn’t partake in was catfish fishing, it’s just not for me but I was more than happy to watch the others and take photos for them. I didn’t feel left out or like I was missing out by not doing it.
I packed really lightly (glad I did as I ended up buying clothes in Mr axe’s and the markets) and was relying on washing my clothes once in the country and was able to get a wash done in sapa and hoi an. Unfortunately my clothes weren’t washed well in hoi and one item came back ripped but I would just not use that hotels laundry service again.
I got 2 outfits made in Mr Xe’s that came to $170 (us) so if you’re budgeting I’d just recommend allocating some money for that.
Adam was super helpful and has the patience of a saint (we must have asked him the same questions several times every day). His love for Vietnam was obvious and he was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond for everyone on the group in regards to onwards travel.
Felt super comfortable and safe the whole time and this has given me more confidence to spend a couple more weeks in Vietnam solo :))
