Lagos: The most populated city in Nigeria, Lagos is located on the western coast and is surrounded by a group of islands. The city is known for its vibrant music and nightlife, and is the center of the African hip-hop movement. With a wide variety of different public and private universities, Lagos is a great study abroad destination.

Kano: Kano is located in Northern Nigeria. The city has historically served as a trading center for the country and reflects the influence of many other regions in Africa and around the world. Kano is also the center for a thriving Islamic community, and if you study there you will be able to participate in many Muslim traditions and festivals.

Ibadan: Home to the first university in Nigeria, Ibadan is a great place to study abroad if you’re interested in learning about the history of the nation. The city lies between the coastal and mountainous regions of the country and features many different aspects of the Nigerian lifestyle.

Academic Life

Nigeria is considered an educational hub in Africa. The country has many universities in every discipline, including humanities, engineering, and law. Nigeria is also a great destination for students interested in studying health or medicine.
