I really loved working with those dogs and Sabrina was so lovely. It was a wonderful experience overall. I also enjoyed the homestay and meeting different people coming to Guatemala for different projects. Olga and her family were very nice. I was hoping to be in the dog shelter and thats the placement that they put me in so I was really pleased. If I ever come back to Guatemala I will definitely visit the shelter and consider adopting one of those dogs. I miss them already. Thank you for the experience

I took the 4-week TEFL course with Maximo Nivel, and it was amazing. I learned SO much in a short period of time and I got practical teaching experience with real, paying clients. My trainer, Karen, was the best part of this program. She is full of knowledge and experience and high energy. My tutor, Wayne, was excellent throughout the entire course and helped massively in getting us to the finish line. It is a very difficult program, but the benefits of the hard work become clear towards the end. Everyone involved was absolutely lovely and great to talk to. The structure of the course is also great, moving methodically through grammar, teaching experience, eliciting skills etc. Overall, although tough, it is very rewarding and taught almost flawlessly, so I would certainly recommend this program.
