Love it !!

The recruiter named Yuri has been so helpful throughout the whole process and i love that i went through this company to teach in korea. I will definitely recommend this program to other people who want to travel abroad or teach. There is nothing negative that I have found with this program. I am enjoying my time as the school i went with is close to a lot of facilities and the teachers are also very helpful. If someone is looking to travel and just try something different with their life i would definitely recommend this program.

What would you improve about this program?
I wouldnt improve anything about this program. This program is great. The recruiter and the school i went with are very helpful and answered all the questions i had.

Thank you so much!

I am so happy I came across SeoulESL and I would definitely recommend working with them to anyone thinking about teaching English in South Korea. Minsu was the Recruiting Consultant I was lucky to work with. He was extremely helpful and beyond supportive throughout the process, and genuinely committed to helping me achieve my teaching goals. Shortly after submitting my application and having the opportunity to speak with Minsu over Skype I was set up with an interview and got a teaching position that fit my needs and timeline. I was so amazed by the efficiency, timeliness, and incredible support I received through every step of the way. I do not think I would have had such a stress-free, smooth, and incredibly positive experience if it wasn’t for the help of Minsu. I cannot say thank you enough for everything he has done for me!

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I would not change anything about my experience as Minsu and SeoulESL went above and beyond to help me throughout this process.

Yuri Kim is the best!

Hello there. My name is Noko. I’m currently teaching English in South Korea and I’m loving every bit of it. However, this wouldn’t be possible without the help of my amazing recruiter, Yuri Kim (from ESL Consulting- SeoulESL). She helped me get here whilst making the entire process easy and hassle-free for me. She really is the best in the business. Her patience and assistance are impeccable. Yuri helped me find the best school that I was comfortable with and communicated every single detail with me throughout the entire process. She guided me every step of the way and always made sure that I understood everything. She’s extremely helpful and has great people skills. I highly recommend her. She’s the best!

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
Nothing at all. My recruiter (Yuri Kim) made this entire process so easy for me. She prepared me well and it’s been a joyride.

SeoulESL Recruiting

SeoulESL has been the extremely helpful with my journey to teaching English in Korea. I originally was working with another recruiting company that was said to be popular, but I was struggling a lot getting clear information and quick responses. I eventually gave up and that’s when I found out about SeoulESL.
SeoulESL has done a great job at giving me the information I needed in a timely manner as well as providing a lot of help through the long process to Korea. It only took a little over a week before I found the job I was looking for and quickly I was granted an interview. Under 3 weeks I had a new job and goal to gain my visa over the next few months before I left. My recruiter Minsu had been amazing, helping me with all my questions no matter how little or random they may have been. He was always responding within a fast time range. He was quick to ask my employer about any questions I had. I would highly recommend SeoulESL because they go above and beyond to help you reach your goals.

Highly Recommended!

I worked with Chloe, and she was incredibly helpful and responsive during every step of the process. She took my preferences into consideration and found me multiple great job opportunities in exactly the location I wanted to be in with a competitive salary and work schedule. Chloe told me exactly what I needed to do and when during every step of the application, interview, and visa application prices, even giving me questions I should ask in my interviews. She supported me from the first time I emailed her until I stepped off of the plane where she sent a driver to pick me up from the airport. Everything went quickly and smoothly and I am incredibly grateful that I was paired with Chloe. Extremely positive experience!

Korea is Soy Amazing !

I have been teaching in Korea for the past year. It is an experience both culturally and professionally that has encouraged me to grow in unexpected ways. When I decided to accept an unexpected position offer I had little time to study the language. I moved to Korea having never been to Asia. Upon arrival I was dizzied with this foreign yet familiar culture. Teaching New York City fosters both a sensitivity to cultural differences and a desensitizing, as there are many similar faucets. I can now read, write, and speak a new language ( still emerging), and though I boldly moved to Asia with a soy allergy, I have survived and learned to cook many Korean dishes so that I can enjoy without the soy. I now feel more comfortable wearing sandals with socks rather that exposing bare feet !
Professionally I have the privilege to work with principals, teachers and students form schools all over my province. This has allowed me to collaborate with an array of teaching styles helping me gain insights to the teaching and learning culture in Korea and sharing the current pedagogy practiced in the United States and Europe where I have taught.
I was offered a second contract and will be spending another year in Korea making memories with my students, practicing a new language, developing professionally and avoiding soy !
When I began working with ESL Consulting - Seoul ESL fourteen months ago, I did not imaging the opportunity that awaited me. They made the entire process from start to finish effortless. Meticulously reviewing my documents to ensure there would be no issues in the hiring and visa process. Leaving me in a new world with a sense of confidence and a feeling of ongoing support.

Thank you Minsu!

I applied to teach in Korea during a time where my home situation wasn't great. Minsu from Seoul ESL very quickly pre-interviewed me and sent me a list of schools. I was hired from my first choice, and he was there every step of the way to assist me in the visa process. It is a lot of paperwork and can be overwhelming, but Minsu double-checked all of my documents and moved them along! He also reassured me about the school, the living situation, and the city and most importantly, answered EVERY question I had (I had a lot). There were so many times during the process where I felt saved by his help, and couldn't believe how much easier the process was with Seoul ESL. He checked with me every few days (sometimes every day) that he worked, for about a 6 week process. He even checked in with me several times since I arrived in Korea 5 days ago. I can't thank him enough. I trusted him so much I even sent my friend to apply to schools through him as well. Use Seoul ESL and ask for Minsu Park!

SeoulESL/GEC

SeoulESL were so incredibly helpful throughout the whole process of my TEFL experience. They initially helped me with EPIK, and when I was rejected they were very positive about finding me a private school to work for. They gave me a vast array of schools to choose from and set up interviews within a few days. They helped me through the VISA process and made sure that when I arrived in Korea that they got me to my school safely and quickly. I cannot thank SeoulESL enough for their help and I would recommend them highly to anyone thinking of being a EFL teacher in Korea.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
The most nerve-racking moment was when I was packing my suitcase to leave for Korea. I suddenly became very overwhelmed about the new experiences I was going to have and how different it was going to be compared to my life up to that point. I sat myself down and thought about how much I really wanted to do this, and I continued packing.
