My Experience With RVF International

I recommend any aspiring TEFL student/teacher to look into RVF International’s program. RVF International has made me feel welcomed and well-taken care of before and during my stay as a teacher in Spain. You can come to them with any question and they will not hesitate to answer it. They will be with you every step of the way.

As for the destination, Spain is a beautiful country with a wealth of culture, history, and friendly people. I love teaching English here and I couldn’t have gotten as far as I did here without RVF International’s help. If you wish to have a fulfilling and unforgettable experience teaching in Spain, sign up with RVF International, you won’t regret it.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Brush up on your Spanish and be sure to have plenty of money saved. Though, really that’s good advice for traveling to any country.

First Year Experience

This program was a great way to see a piece of the world and be a part of culture in a way that I would not have experienced on my own. RVF International made the transition as easy as possible and was there at every step when I had questions. I had to adjust to pueblo life quickly, but RVF offered resources and assistance which has made my experience in Spain an enjoyable one. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates, people who love learning about other cultures and languages, or anyone with an open mind and adventurous spirit.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
Hiking on the side of a mountain when it started raining, quickly and carefully descending

RVF International

The experience that RVF International provides is unlike any other program. Throughout the entire time, from beginning to end, I felt open to ask any questions and was always met with a friendly, helpful, and quick response. While traveling to a new country for a long period of time can be stressful in the beginning, the team at RVF International took all of the stress away. They were there to assist with the application process, acquiring a Visa, and provided ample assistance in adjusting to life in a new country. I truly feel lucky to have found this program and to have worked with the team at RVF International. I recommend this program to anyone and suggest they specifically choose to work with RVF International if they are looking for a life changing adventure.

RVF International Teaching English in Spain Program

I recommend RVF International because from the firts day we contacted them, my husband and I have had a great experience in the process of finding a placement  for both of us as Lenguage assistant in Spain. They managed to get us to be at the same location, we are even working at the same school. This team has been of great help to us since the begining of the process, wich is long and can be confussing at times, but Harrison helped us and responded to any concern we had any time when we needed it, he was always available for us through e-mail or facecall. We couldn't do it without their help. We are so happy with them, we plan to extend our program for another year and have them help us again. Thank you RVF International!

What was your funniest moment?
Getting to meet new people and spending time with the kids in the schools I'm working in is joyfull. Traveling to explore a new city in Spain on weekends is great!!

Review of RVF International

Honestly I couldn’t recommend RVF more! Not only was the entire application process fairly easy, any questions I had were quickly and thoroughly answered. I never waited long for a reply or felt my question was answered properly.
I now work with many people who chose to use other companies and I see that they were not given the same attention or thoroughness that I got with RVF, and sadly I know that these people paid more than I did for the same help.
The one thing I would improve is being made more aware of the (potential) underlying costs such as getting things notarized.
Regardless, my experience has been a 10/10 and I absolutely have recommended RVF and will continue to do so.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I would 100% do more research about the locations I chose to apply to. I know that sounds like a “no brainer” but I assumed I already had a good idea regarding the weather & food situation but I was wrong. Ha! Do your due diligence and even if you don’t, I promise you’ll still have fun.

A Perfect Experience

I could not have asked for a better experience with a company than what I have with RVF. I rate this company and the workers very highly. Nothing but quality, reliability, trustworthiness and loyalty.

To all of the people who are reading this review, I would strongly recommend you join this program. RVF International will eliminate ALL of your stress and nerves that you have as you prepare for one of the most life-changing experiences of your life. There are so many things to worry about in regards to moving from the United States to Spain to teach English. From the initial application itself, to gathering all of the United States paperwork, to handling the Spanish paperwork, to finding housing, a bank, and so much more. You will receive help with all of it.

I even made a few friends through this program directly because you will get placed into a group email with all of the RVF clients who are placed in your Spanish city (I was placed in Valencia, a very beautiful city). I really appreciated that because it made the transition to Spain so much better knowing I would immediately have some friends, who I would never had met without this program.

I am very grateful all of the help I’ve received and I consider everyone in the program a friend to me.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
My advice is to trust everyone in RVF. They will make your experience so much smoother. It’s a long process from the day you apply to this program to the first days of working in a Spanish school. They will guide you to an experience in Spain that you’ll never forget for the rest of your life.

RVF International Teach English in Spain Program

RVF International has done an outstanding job guiding us through the Teach English in Spain Program. Harrison and his staff have always been ready and available to answer any questions we had. In particular, RVF International did a great job guiding my wife and me through the application process last spring. There was a lot of paperwork to complete, and RVF International covered every detail. Once we arrived in Spain, Harrison also held an online orientation session that answered additional questions (how to obtain a TIE card, how to open a bank account, how to find housing, etc.). I highly recommend RVF International to anyone wishing to teach English in Spain!

RVF: Worth It!

RVF was totally worth it when planning my year abroad. The program director and staff always responded VERY quickly to all of my questions and were helpful even when there were tricky situations to navigate. They are very knowledgeable and are able to provide recommedations for other services that are beyond their own (lawyers, housing, cell phone services, etc.). Paperwork can be a headache when moving abroad, especially when you have no idea what you are doing, but RVF makes it all a breeze. They lay everything all out for you so it is as easy as following the steps that they have provided for you. In the midst of a pandemic, moving across the world can be a daunting thing but with RVF I felt taken care of, understood and that my experience was important to them.

Questions & Answers

Hello Jeremy, Thank you for your question! Housing is independent and is not included in the program. However, our program has a very comprehensive housing assistance plan that helps our program participants find housing in Spain. On average, on average those in our program who follow our housing plan move into a fully furnished apartment in Spain within the first 48-72 hours of arriving in Spain...

It's very exciting to embark on this sort of Teach Abroad adventure with family! Currently at RVF International, we don't handle the visa process or transition process for family members. However, for anyone in the program coming to Spain with family, we are more than happy to get them in touch with English-speaking immigration lawyers in Spain who would be able to help answer all family member...

Hello Richard, Thank you for your question! You will earn anywhere between €700 EUR to €1000 EUR depending on where in Spain you'll be teaching as your monthly salary will be relative to the standard cost of living of where you'll be teaching. Doesn't sound like much? Don't worry, it is! Spain is one of the least expensive countries in all of Western Europe to live in, and you'll earn more than...
