Deciding to take the plunge and take part in a Gotoco programme has been one of the best decisions I could have made. I've always wanted to experience living/working abroad and Gotoco has made that transition for me very seamless and they have been there every step of the way. The staff at Gotoco have been extremely approachable and are always there to help/answer any queries or issues I have. On top of that, they have gone above and beyond to organise fun, cultural experiences for us and incredible trips to islands with excursions like snorkelling. I would recommend a programme with Gotoco to anyone who wants a sense of adventure, with added support along the way!

Applying for this program has been one of the best decisions I could have made this year. It’s given me the opportunity to grow as a person, become more independent, experience different languages, food and culture and travel around Thailand whilst also working and gaining experience in teaching English to Thai children. I Couldn’t recommend this program more, not only have I travelled and gained experience but I have also made some amazing friends for life who I have been able to travel with for the last year.

This is an amazing way to see a new part of the world and truly experience life there. You will be fully engrossed into the culture and work with likeminded others. The social scene is enhanced greatly with the friends you make along the way but provides a lot in itself.
The time and care taken by the staff is wonderful, and they make sure to help you feel as involved as possible, trying to make your experience even more memorable.
Definitely something you should consider when looking at overseas programs!

There is a whole world out there and GoToCo have helped me experience a new section of it. I would never have been able to be in the position where I am now without the support from GoToCo. Leaving the UK to live in a different country was made a lot easier because of funded flights and stipends. Being apart of the GoToCo community also allows for a strong support network. I have gained a CertTESOL qualification through the programme from not cost of my own. A very special programme and I couldn't recommend it more to anyone.

It's a great opportunity to experience a new country and culture, to gain experience in teaching, and to gain confidence in travelling, and navigating new countries. It gives confidence in looking for jobs abroad and the experience may open up new pathways in life, particularly if you don't know what you'd like to do.

The programme was run well, with a good mix of teacher training and cultural activities. The experiences were varied and gave us a good introduction to the country and local life.

If you are just a bit sick of the mundanity of everyday life at home then you've just found your ticket out. There are so many people to meet, foods to try, sights to see and you're on the precipice of it all. I gained a highly credited TESOL teaching certificate that gave me the opportunity and confidence to live and travel abroad. The GOTOCO staff were with me every step of the way and were always a message away. I would recommend this experience to any and all young people who are looking for an adventure.

The one-year program with GoToCo has been such a fun and rewarding experience, one which I would recommend to anyone with a keen sense of adventure, a desire to work hard and embrace new opportunities, and learn about a new culture. GoToCo have provided me with a fully funded TrinityTESOL certificate, return flights from Thailand/UK, paid travel in Thailand including food budget, accommodation and excursions, ongoing group social events and meet-ups, and a great teaching placement in my preferred choice of Bangkok. On top of this, the amazing directors and staff have been with me every step of the way, making themselves available and contactable with any questions or queries I have had, and have done so with a commitment to making sure you have the best possible time and experience as possible. The GoToCo team truly go above and beyond to ensure cohorts are happy, and they do with sincerity and a willingness to help. This starts from before you have even left the UK, as the directors take time to explain the program to you, from application to end date, via phone calls, emails and Zoom calls with your fellow cohorts. This ensures you feel really prepared and super excited before leaving for the program. The travel experience was great fun, we learnt so much about the culture, and saw incredible scenery and places in Thailand, including cities, islands, beaches and national parks. And the Trinity TESOL training was so interesting and the opportunity to gain real teaching practice before starting our school placements proved to be very valuable and helpful. And GoToCo did a great job of helping to organise our school placements, and I was lucky enough to get placed as a Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher at a bilingual private school in north Bangkok, thanks to the hard work of Richard, a GoToCo director. Everything was completely streamlined, there was constant communication from the staff regarding every stage from beginning to end. Accommodation choices showed us a variety of life-styles in Thailand, from high end hotels to backpacking hostels.

I would never have stepped out of my comfort zone and experienced some of the things they encouraged us to do. We went island hopping on Thai longboats, explored caves in a rainforest national park, and even backpacked in small groups from the South of Thailand to the North.

All while getting qualified as an English teacher!
