GoToCo experience

From start to finish, we were looked after thoroughly. The teaching experience was incredible and something I will remember forever and the people in our group and who we met were lovely. We also were taken on some unbelievable excursion's in our days off - which really helped people to settle in Thailand. I loved our Thai language and cooking lessons.

One of first nights as a group we went out on a boat trip down the river in Bangkok, then came back and had lovely food and played pool - what a night.

Amazing trip to Bali

The program has been hugely beneficial to me in so many ways. Firstly the opportunity to travel abroad and learn about other cultures is something I did not think I would be able to do for a long time. The experience and lessons I have learnt from independent travel will help towards my future career aspiration in international humanitarian work. Secondly, the opportunity to help a local community through teaching has given me first-hand experience in volunteering whilst building up my sense of responsibility.

Pros
  • Amazing opportunity
  • cultural immersion
  • supportive team
Cons
  • far away
  • food is different
  • can be a challenge
