A Comprehensive and Practical TESOL Experience

My experience with this accredited TESOL/TEFL course was truly unique because it combined detailed theoretical knowledge with highly practical, real-world teaching exercises. The interactive quizzes, lesson planning guides, and teaching methodology modules (PPP, TTT, TBL) allowed me to immediately apply what I learned, making the course extremely engaging and effective. I have to say this, the future participants can expect a comprehensive program that not only builds confidence in teaching English but also equips them with tools to manage diverse classrooms, motivate students, and adapt lessons to different learning styles and age groups.

What was your funniest moment?
To improve the program, I’d suggest adding more live teaching simulations with real students as it would make practicing techniques even more hands-on and fun.

One of the most unique experiences for me was doing interactive role-plays where I had to teach vocabulary using only gestures and props. It was challenging, hilarious at times, and really boosted my confidence as a teacher!
Pros
  • The course was very interactive, making learning fun and practical.
  • I gained a clear understanding of teaching methodologies and classroom management.
  • Supportive instructor who provided helpful feedback throughout.
Cons
  • Some of the quizzes felt repetitive at times.
  • A few lessons could be a bit fast-paced for beginners.
  • Limited real-life classroom practice for online participants.

A Transformative Experience

I recently finished a program, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The content was well thought-out, relevant, and practical, making it easy to stay interested and motivated the whole way through. Every module offered something valuable that I could actually apply to real situations, which I really appreciated.

The support team was always there when I needed help, and they were patient and quick to respond. The platform itself was mostly smooth and easy to navigate.

In terms of value, I genuinely feel like I got more than my money’s worth. It was a perfect mix of learning and personal growth.

I’d absolutely recommend this program to anyone who’s looking to challenge themselves, expand their knowledge, or simply try something new. It’s especially great for learners, solo travelers, and anyone eager to grow personally or professionally.

Would I recommend this program? âś… Yes, without a doubt.

What was your funniest moment?
The funniest moment was when I ask a mentor online a question because at first, I didn't understand the lesson. I was confused. When I received a response, I was ashamed because I felt dumb. It was so easy to understand.

  • Super engaging and useful content
  • Responsive tutors
  • Great overall value and experience
Cons
  • the quality of the videos in the actual class as examples aren't great
  • the audio quality of the videos aren't great

After learning I feel good

The TESOL certification is truly a practical tool for both teaching beginners and advanced practitioners! Through its systematic assessment, it constructs a comprehensive teaching framework covering language acquisition theories, classroom management, and diverse teaching methodologies, helping learners with no foundation or limited experience easily build a solid professional base. Moreover, with high recognition in most non-English-speaking countries worldwide, it serves as a strong credential for job hunting, outperforming general English proficiency certificates in competitiveness. From children’s English to study-abroad test preparation, its multi-level certification adapts to various teaching scenarios—both professional and practical, it is undoubtedly a valuable asset for enhancing teaching capabilities and advancing career development!

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I would spend more time watching videos.
Pros
  • systematic
  • high global recognition
  • highly practical

The journey of an English teacher.

When I pay for this course I thought it will be same as a grammar guide but I was wrong throughout this incredible journey I realized that, this course is something else. It not only enhanced my grammar but it also helped me in building my teaching career. Completing this course was a valuable experience for me. One of the best part of this course was that it was flexible. I was able to study at my own pace. Which helped me a lot to balance it with my other responsibilities. The overall modules were just a sequence from learning to teaching. The content was clear ,practical and very informative like I learned a lot from it . In the grammar part I have learned new types of sentences which are (conditional sentences )like I didn't know these before. This course covered all the important areas which I needed as a future English teacher. Like I didn't know about how to make a proper lesson plan, how to teach grammar, what learning activities should be better for young learners and for adults. Overall I have learned a lot from this course and I will apply all the strategies to make a perfect classroom environment.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
I will say that first of all everyone should prepare their self for a professional life. As a future English teacher I want to learn more about that country which will choose me as a teacher. So every traveller must learn about the country, city, the people, and their traditions and cultures. For spending a good time in an area the first thing we have to do is to learn about it. like what are their languages, what kind of food they eat, what are their festival so all these things will help a traveller to survive there peacefully.
Pros
  • It taught me that how can I teach to the students of different ages.
  • I learned that how can I make a perfect and a well engaging classroom environment.
  • I also learned that how can I apply different learning styles to get attention of my students.
Cons
  • During this course I have experienced internet issues.
  • The teachers were cooperative but sometimes they replied me lately. Due to which I felt stuck in the course.
  • I have an old android phone due to which , it took more time to get fully charged so sometimes I had time but my phone was dead that's why I have missed the some of the precious hours of this course.

Good guide and experience

This 120-hour TESOL training course exceeded all my expectations—what stood out most was how practical and classroom-ready the content felt, not just theoretical. The guide broke down complex teaching frameworks (like TTT, PPP, and TBL) with real lesson examples, so I could immediately picture how to use techniques like scanning/skimming activities or error correction strategies in my own ESL classes.

To future participants: don’t worry if you’re not a "natural" teacher at first—this course meets you where you are.
By the final module, I went from feeling overwhelmed by lesson objectives to confidently designing a 45-minute grammar lesson that actually kept learners engaged.

If you’re looking for a TESOL course that balances depth, practicality, and support, this is it—worth every hour, and I’m already seeing the impact in how I connect with my students!

It was a good refresher course for me.

I think the World TESOL Academy TESOL Certification Course was very good. First and foremost, it was affordable — the price is really accessible for many people. The course materials were clear and easy to follow, and their software was also excellent.

However, I think the course could have been even better if it were a little longer and covered more topics in greater depth. Still, it served as a great introduction to the TESOL certification program and provided a solid foundation for further learning.

Overall, I learned a lot and was able to study effectively. I would definitely recommend WorldTesla Academy to my friends and colleagues.

What was your funniest moment?
I think the funniest moment for me was one day when I was doing the module and got stuck because I was very sleepy. I hadn’t slept well the night before, so even though the questions were really easy, I kept making mistakes and had to repeat the quiz over and over just to get a passing grade. I found it funny because if I hadn’t been sleepy, I could have answered all those questions perfectly in one try. So yeah, I think that was pretty funny!
Pros
  • Very affordable
  • The module is pretty easy.
  • It was easy to finish.
Cons
  • Not very comprehensive
  • they do not tell you which questions who answered incorrectly
  • too easy

Excellent TEFL/TESOL Course!

I really enjoyed this course. The material was clear, well-structured, and easy to follow even for someone new to teaching. I appreciated the focus on practical classroom techniques and lesson planning — it wasn’t just theory. The examples and exercises helped me feel confident about teaching English in real-world situations. The support team was responsive, and the platform ran smoothly. Overall, a great experience that gave me both skills and confidence to start teaching abroad or online. Highly recommended!

What would you improve about this program?
Given the international scope of this course, it might be useful to show the differences between American and British English. For instance, Q# 62 of the final exam showed "What does Sarah like to do at the weekend?" as a possible answer. While this is proper in British grammar, it is not in American English. In American English, it would be presented as "What does Sarah like to do during/on the weekend?".
